Currently, I am in Australia, where I am undergoing my masters. I have always wanted to be a successful businessman and earn lots of money. After becoming a successful businessman I want to help the poor people and also want to work for the betterment of society. However, I feel doing business in Australia and becoming successful is a complex task. The Australian business market is highly saturated. Also, huge investments and other resources are required to set up a business in Australia (The World Bank, 2012, p.5-10). Apart from that, there are also other constraints from my side. Hence I intend to become a successful business person in some other country. After comprehensively researching the business environment of various countries, I found Indonesia as the most suitable market for doing business. Hence in the near future, I aim to become a successful businessman in Indonesia. After getting established in the Indonesian market, I also propose to reach the elite position on the list of most successful business persons of Indonesia. The timeline I set for myself is 10 years. Prior to everything I need to choose the type of business I will be doing. With the help of experienced businessmen, market researchers and the internet I propose to commence a business of manufacturing and selling water bottles. Since the investments are low as compared to a product like electronic gadgets, I preferred bottles to be more cost-effective and less uncertain products. Nonetheless, it is the initiation point for me as a businessman, but as soon as I succeed in capturing considerable market share and investors, I will diversify my business to other sectors as well.
Therefore in order to reach that position, I need to plan short term goals which in turn will take me to the desired objective. Also, I need to look after the required skills and resources for the purpose of commencing a new venture in the Indonesian market. Moreover, in order to attain every short term objective, I need to formulate an action or activity. The objectives and required actions are provided below in a tabular format.
Study of the Indonesian market for 6 months and analyze Indonesian External Business Environment: factors such as political, legal, technological, environmental, economic and social. Study of Indonesian bottle making industry: analysis of the players belonging to the bottle making industry. Also investigations about the cost of production and the way others do marketing. Consumer Analysis: a comprehensive analysis of potential consumers. Investigation of Marketing opportunities: analysis of possible ways of marketing and distribution of products. ...Download file to see next pages Read More

Evandale's Business Plan

Evandale’s mission would have a strong impact on the company’s later brand development.
When a company determines its mission and its vision, it needed to determine its objectives to accomplish that vision. I did not see the objectives—where the company was heading through in the presentation. A clear objective would have enabled me, as an audience to also picture where the company would want to go and would serve as the benchmark for me to assess the later strategic choices the company would state in the presentation.
According to the slides, the potential demand for caviar and the sturgeon products are “100x” bigger than the current supply. I would have wanted to see a reliable source for...

An Evaluation of the Role That the Principles of Behaviour Therapy Have to Play in Clinical Hypnosis

Hamburg (2006) first used this combined effort to treat two patients who were scared of dying. He uses his paper to encourage clinicians to refrain from not using their knowledge at the introductory classes of hypnosis but to go into it deeper. Many therapists at that time were taking the bold step of combining behavior therapy with hypnosis (Chaves, 2006). One group used hypnosis for desensitization therapy (Kirsch et al, 1995). However, there was general disagreement about the manner of hypnosis being employed and the methods of mentalist constructs. Chaves who strongly believed in the treatment combination used it as a base for many of his therapeutic interventions (Chaves, 1997a as cited in Chaves, 2006). The hypnotic therapy...

Evaluation of Children with Visual Impairment between Ages 4-12

A visually impaired child may suffer from incomplete sight, reduced vision, total blindness as well as legal sightlessness (Kelley and Gale p 45). It is a condition that may become severe in a child, thereby affecting its growth and development. The impact is usually dependent on the kind of loss, age at which it occurs, as well as the general body functioning of the child. The normal interest that is usually evident amongst children on seeing attractive items in their surroundings lacks in a visually impaired child. This may interfere with the child’s learning capabilities unless he/she is assisted to learn. Organizational Change is an Opportunity for Organizational Learning

Before we move on to how it is beneficial for everyone, even though it is perceived negatively by a large number of people and is one of their biggest fears, we need to discuss the different kinds of changes and the reason behind them.

An organization can go through a structural change. This can be due to a takeover or a complete change of management. In this type of change, the way of working and many dimensions of business activity is altered. This move is usually towards modernization and staying up with the pace but is too fast and sudden, and thus hard for the stakeholders to adjust with. Then there is a change brought about by the change in the services or goods produced and provided. This is usually a positive ch...

Many activists present their ideas, attitudes or thoughts in the form of art, in some creative endeavor. Art shows the "story" in a visual way that the individual is attempting to speak out about, in such a way as to get others involved with helping the cause.

When many people think of activists, they may not think about therapists or teachers as being in this mix of ideas. Often, they are the ones who are quiet when it comes to activism because they can feel they are removed from what is happening in society on an everyday basis. However, they are in the middle of controversy all of the time whether they understand this or not.

As I was thinking about a project to do, I thought it would be interesting to get...
