Knowing that the company is open to two major forms of outsourcing, which are business process outsourcing (BPO) and out-tasking models, Harward (2010), notes that “the BPO models are comprehensive and selective. And the out-tasking models are licensing and contracting.” The decision on outsourcing continues to remain untaken because there is presently not a formal approval of the budget set. After the budget approval, if it turns out that not much can be spent on procurement, then it would be advised to limit the outsourcing option to business process outsourcing, where the company would either stick to comprehensive BPO or selective BPO. On the other hand, if the budget turns out to make a lot of room for procurement, then the company can resort to out-tasking model, from which either licensing agreement or contracting may be used. The other decision that remains open is on whether or not to import key staff members from other companies to take up key roles in the project delivery. The Launch of Kones New Product

Political: 90% of Kone’s sales come from international markets. This makes it very vulnerable to political stability in its global markets for example Italy is one of the markets of Kone and elevator regulations are governed in Italy by parliament. Thus, to bring MonoSpace i.e. an elevator without a machine room in compliance with standards, it would require an act by the parliament.
