People with diabetes have a healthy range of between 90 and 130 before meals and lower than 180 after meals (Matthews, 2008).

Diabetes can be controlled by coping with the disease. First, the patients need to know that stress can quickly raise the level of blood sugar. Therefore, they need to lower their level of stress. Additionally, diabetes can be controlled by eating well. Patients must choose foods with lower calorie, salt, and Tran’s fat levels. The patients must also choose foods like whole grains, cereals, vegetables, and cheese. Consequently, patients need to drink water rather than soda and juice.
