If presented with the topic of animal experimentation, even if it was harmless, I believe that Singer would bounce the question back at the asker and ask if they would feel comfortable running the test on a human. If they wouldn't, then how come t hey were comfortable testing a animal Shouldn't the same decency and rights exist for both human and animal test subjects Singer would not at all be in support of those tests, and would most likely become angry even at the idea of people not being willing to treat animals as they would people, or vice versa.

Singer makes it very clear how he feels in the article, and really hits the point home on his feelings on how people treat animals, and just how serious his claim is.
