Gacy would get to lure young males by posting a job opening at his construction firm and ensnaring them to his home on the pretext of discussing the job openings.

Once the young men were in his house, Gacy would subdue them, knocking them unconscious and start his grisly acts of rape, torture, and killing. In 1980, Gacy was convicted and condemned to death, after he was suspected to be advancing his previous sadistic behaviors (Vronsky 67).
