Donald Lipski Award-winning sculptures and installations are the most important things highly associated with the Donald Lipski, an artist bornon May 21, 1947 (Donald Lipski), living and working in Philadelphia since 2006. As a publicly-known artist, Lipski as an American sculptor renowned for his large-scale public works and installations captures the essence of associating poetry with the visual arts. Lipski is master of combining twentieth style as a poetry trying to capture the real image of life’s reality and combined them to make striking absurdity but exuding with elegance. As a result, some of his works turned out absurd and out of context, by skewing reality made through his public sculptures in urban setting (Berkus 148). His popular masterpiece The Yearling could substantially represent this, in which there is a representation of a huge chair with a sculpture of a horse on it and is situated on the cross-sectional center of park’s pathway. This seems to be out of context, but the striking elegance and message associated with it are what would matter in this work of art that is purely about what encompasses Lipski’s masterpiece.
Lipski’s works of art are shown in the world through galleries and museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Whitney, The Menil Collection, and The Chicago Art Institute, which gave him the opportunity to receive awards and honors such as The Guggenheim Fellowship, National Endowment for the Arts Awards, and The Academy Award of the American Academy of Arts & Letters, and The Rome Prize (Artnet).
Since Lipski is good at combining and altering common things around us to create poetic piece of art through his sculptures, on the other hand this does not exempt him to be known for his various prominent and stimulating public sculptures.
Here are some of Lipski’s selected works as represented by Galerie Lelong.

Psyche (2010) By Donald Lipski

... Psyche By Donald Lipski Donald Lipski’s work covers rationales of democracy and inclusiveness. With the exemption to make art out of anything in the least, he personifies American inventiveness and resource. For almost forty years, starting with the hailed Gathering Dust (1979) at the Museum of Modern Art, he has assumed pieces of dust and cast-off objects and miraculously translated them into agitative, amusing, and pursuing pieces. Since that breakthrough installation, in which he stapled thousands of little carvings to the art gallery walls, Lipski’s work has yielded homage to workers, to artists, to the American flag occasionally fomenting unintended public responses. Lipski has set up public arts everywhere the country, each... a...
