Fashion in clothing has been identified with self-expression in society for many decades. In a general sense, those who have high social status or class in their cultural alignment that influences fashion trends and become trendsetters. In addition, color is considered an issue of personal preference and choice. Styles in fashion differ greatly depending on several issues including age, religion, social status, occupation, generational difference and geography. It develops at a constant pace, especially in capitalistic societies.

This same trend occurs in architecture. Recent technological advances have provided architects with tools to construct fluid buildings, while fashion designers have been able to make attires with architectonic features.The language used by experts in architecture and fashion is largely exchangeable. For instance, architects use words, such as folding, pleating, and weaving in structural designs. In a little different view, fashion designers use architectural inspiration when conveying issues dealing with volume and structure.

Architecture has a similar origin to fashion in terms of modern forms. Despite the fact that architecture has existed for decades, it has diversified into a completely modernized discipline.
