The space selected is that of sports field which is considered a gendered space specific activity. A sporting activity in form of ice hockey. The first thought that would hit the mind is men playing it with muscular built bodies, sticks in hands and helmets. The physical qualities and the first thought that would come to mind is rush of blood, running and skating over the ice, aiming to outsmart rivals and each team possessing the figurative and proverbial men like strength. This is a strong gendered space example based on our general perceptions, adaptations of the society and how we look into the overall scenario of ice hockey event.

Another similar scenario can be presented in form of a soldier. The first thought that hits the mind is that of a man and muscular built solider. The idea of masculine is represented by the common notion of practices and how the society undertakes the specific roles against given environment and given circumstances. The other genders may perceive it as something that is relatively fast, full of rush, adrenaline and excessively fast paced competition between the individuals. Similarly in the case of solider, the common concept and understanding that comes is to the mind is that of the solider being trained to fight in the battle field, carry heavy weapons, run many a mile and stay out in the tents and in the fields for multiple days and battle the rough situations.
