As art, it uses different ideas; thus, space is the most commonly used in expressing visibility and invisibility. Space is a concept that has no clear definition and is subjective to the piece of work being constructed (Blundell- jones, Petrescu & Till 23). Besides, scholars consider the term “space” an oxymoron co-notated with a heavenly perception. Furthermore, they tend to associate space with the unknown phenomenon such as exploration of heavenly bodies beyond human comprehension. Usually, it is from “space” that we explore the spatial zones in architecture and the external surroundings. This techniques existence has been for quite a while in construction since the inception of architecture as a form of art. When designing it, there has to be planning as it determines a lot on the outcome for a piece of architecture. This piece discusses space and its implication to architecture with the intent of highlighting its usefulness within the architectural setting whilst propagating useful ideologies. Visible spaces entail those areas that can be conceivable by the mind on an architecture material and in the real sense; they are observable in the physical world. Moreover, invisible space in most cases is an illusion emanating from one’s thought upon observing any form of architectural works (Blundell- jones, Petrescu & Till 23. Prior to a person, joining an architectural school, space is the first thing of which he/she is taught. According to Blundell- jones Petrescu &, Till (115), it is a form of experience that motivates artists towards creativity. Space involves a graphic abstraction when intending to convey a meaning to the audiences or those using the architectural component. By knowing aspects that are existent or have been constructed, unknown concepts are comprehensible. We can reverse an image that is in the physical form to a space. Therefore, the idea for use in this case is exploring the unknown to known using visible spaces. According to Blundell- jones, Petrescu & Till (125), spatial boundaries and connection are created by the mind upon conceiving a piece of artworks. In most cases, space relies on the construction already in place such as a building or the existing natural environment. This is to mean that the idea of using space is not a nouvelle concept in the field of architecture. It is from it that creativity emanated and other ideologies associated with creative construction such as architecture. When visible and invisible space is used in architecture, it guides in focusing on the right medium since all pieces of art are constructed in space (Blundell- jones, Petrescu & Till 3). It complication comes from the designing stage. It is from the presentation that it will influence the viewers for a given piece of artwork. Space is a reminder that our experience in real life is spatial in showing connections that exist; therefore, it is evident that beings and the universe are similar. According to Blundell- jones, Petrescu & Till (143), the unique aspect about invisible and visible space is that they experience a flow as a form of architecture. They indicate imaginary boundaries, which can be shifted in whatever direction depending on the artists and the viewer for the art works. This technique is commonly used in construction of modern buildings. Usually, space flows by sequencing connections shown by the voids present in a given piece of construction. Consequently, rhythm and tonal variation are the visible elements when considering the creation of space for a piece in architecture. Therefore, artists intending to be compassionate in their architectural works have no obligation but to utilize space in its visible form in order to express the invisible. In construction, the use of space elements wisely, an architect is not supposed to experience distraction by his/ creation. Instead, they should use the template and the construction material in driving the intended experience (Blundell- jones, Petrescu & Till 141). This method is applicable to the digital architecture, which is dynamic in most cases. By integrating technology in the constructing of visible space, the architect must always focus on the right element by concentrating on the expression of theme. Concurrently, digital experience proves to be a challenge by relying on what has already been constructed (Blundell- jones, Petrescu & Till 107). There are situations in which this modern architecture is called experience instead of space. Understanding spaces enable one differentiate the invisible from the visible when panning to undertake any architectural construction (Blundell- jones, Petrescu & Till 23). Visible spaces create a sense of belonging for different pieces of artworks. Artists normally design spaces based on their familiarity with a concept when intending to relay the same information to his audiences. Invisible spaces are the most difficult to describe when it comes to architecture, normally they are referred to as invisible due to individuals subjectivity in comprehending invisibility. To some this architecture form is complex since it has no clear explanation to what it entails by stating what visible space is. Normally, artists conduct research when constructing buildings of different forms when intending to express invisible and visible spaces. Planning is the first step an artist undertakes when deciding on the type of construction using architectural skills. Secondly, knowledge concerning space will help in guiding on the movement within and outside the construction. For an invisible space, someone is free to express motion since nothing restricts movement in that form. Three-dimensional constructions express space clearly in architecture compared to plain dimensional architecture. Lastly, space has to integrate a sense of harmony by combining several elements that include shape, texture and color. When discussing the mystery of art space has been accorded, much attention compared to other techniques used in architecture. Visible subjects normally appeal in expressing emotions when fully exploited. This technique has been mostly emphasized on by architecture who intends to come up with a variation in visible expressions. In some cases space is not created as it expresses itself in unison with nature. In the contemporary society, spaces are used in inspirng strategy. Moreover, the traditiona society relied on visible architecture in depeicting their lifestles. Visible spaces were used to document information and express the cultural values of a given peope. Apart from relaying to the audience what was expected, invisible spaces have been understood differently by the masses. People have tended to prefer desinging visible spaces and leaving voids upon the costructors to alter the invisible indirectly. This effect has led to the creation of variations such as generating voids that signify a certain element from a given culture. When given much attention this art forms leads to the creation of divinity for a given peice of works; for example, a building depecting some sence of ascendancy and descendancy at the same time (Blundell- jones, Petrescu &, Till 58). As a result this leads to the creation of an illusion whereas the piece receives mixed reception by its audiences. Due to the availability of technology, the society prefers to refer to space architecture as disapearing since its meaning varies from generation to generation while in general it is not clearly known of the origin for this type of architecture. Conclusion The use of space in architecture depends upon the choice made by an artist upon his/her definition of what invisible and visible space is. Blundell- jones, Petrescu &, Till (113) asserts that space influences the level of visibility to be realized upon completion of a construction. When properly constructed, space generate the maim theme of any artform by ceating a connection of the artifitial components of the environemnt with human beings spiritual nature. Thus, we can conclude that both visible and invisible spaces in architect use give the ke meaning to a construction whether the concept is understood or carried out unknowingly. Indeed, failure to acknowledge space often leads to misuse of visible and invisible entities. As such, it is crucial to embrace such ideologies.
