Hominine study Archaic Homo sapiens This group of the ancient human beings refers to the middle Pleistocene hominines that are morphologically and behavioral characteristics that fall between the Homo erectus and the modern Homo sapiens. This group of individuals, dates as far as 5000 years ago. Some good examples of this category of individuals include the Rhodesian man and the Neanderthal man. It is argued that these individuals are the ones who evolved into Homo erectus.
