The use of technology to create stunning visualizations and effects such as 3D has become the primary focus of production houses and filmmakers (Lane, 2003). There is an urgent need to address this issue and bring the creative component of storytelling back to the filmmaking process. Technological advances must be used to tell the story in a better way and must not be used in a manner that would overshadow the story in the movie or just to say an old story in a different way. The author argues that the human touch, suspense, and curiosity elements constructed intelligently by James Cameroon in the first two parts of the Terminator series, which made the movie special and a cult, are missing in Terminator 3. The big pockets of the production houses have been used to create spectacular visuals but lack the creative vision in storytelling. The measure of a movie is no more the wealth of its imaginings but the immensity of its funding.
