Assignment Walt Disney cartoon Der Fuehrers Face was a great piece socially due to the exposure to the inherent societal challenge that was corresponding to the hitherto social challenge. Socially, the cartoon exposes the great divide amongst the Germanys and Americans. The cartoonist production aims at exposing the Germans and its allies as evil and inconsiderate while it applauds the US and its associate. It generates a biased form of communication to its audience. Donald is exhibited as an oppressed and rejected citizen from Nutzi region that is further depicted as swastika that resembles the form of Hitler. Walt Disney cartoon Der Fuehrers Face was a great piece politically as it aimed to exhibit the political difference between American allies and German allies in the past world war. The video exposes Donald as a person who is compelled to work 48 hours to satisfy the demand for the production of the shells needed for Fuehrers war desires. The working condition sends him into becoming mad associated with stress from the job. Walt Disney cartoon Der Fuehrers Face was a great piece artistically as it combined highly elevated levels of cartoonist art inappropriate communication and message delivery. The video present’s satirical version of the world war compelled the Germans and allies to do. The video presents artistic mocking of Adolf Hitlarious (Hitler), for instance, by showing his face as the pelted with an overripe tomato amongst other exhibitions. 2. The two artists Cindy Shermans and Nikki Lee examined two closely attached selfhoods. Nikki Lee created a re-invention of herself from the stereotypical, clues, media hype and codes that define her traditional community. She creates a new version of herself different from the original Japanese girl. The images she presents are a representation of the community ego, defined social accountabilities, and roles. Cindy Shermans presents closely different approach by considering the use of the visual language of cinema in single frame film to avail a re-contextualize the female focus by meticulously staging stereotypes of femininity. The bodies of work of the two approaches are closely related. The exposed Lee’s body of work has adopted a philosophy of living content and entailed subject that entails are respecting and giving reverence to it. While applying this model, she is able to comprehend herself, and she is intensively immersed in the practice. This approach is notable through the unique use of photos she applied in her photos. Sherman body of work presents the use of her body to provide observation of the building or construction of gender identities. The main similarity between the two bodies of work is that they both addresses the human identity to a community with acknowledging the variations or the process of construction and deconstruction of the cultures. They indicate characters who are adopting a western or newfangled form of culture in terms of dressing disregarding their original mode of dressing. The main origin of the difference between the two bodies of work reveals a difference in that Sherman entails her individual body to deliver commentary regarding the construction of gender identities. On contrast, Lee entails the innocent bystanders who are not informed of what is being done. She creates a scene where various individual could mainly be partially conscious of the artist’s pretense and intentions. I find lee’s project most applicable to my case. From lee’s approach pushes the boundaries regarding identity and region what kind people are. Her approach creates a scenario of what other people comprehend and know regarding other. She positions herself in a frame of her images thus creating a transformed image of herself into the documented focus after creating the framework and scenery the phase. 3. The difference between art and pornography can be realized through use of certain typical criteria in the analysis of the rules entailed in an assessment of the two. The pornographic materials always aim at creating a purposeful scenario of sexual arousal on certain audience entailed. Such sexual purpose is normally felt as hugely in-specific. A definite recognition of art describes an indication of a purpose with manner specific. In case something is both an art and has a purpose, then becomes a manner specific case. Normally, the purpose is normally well designed in that it cannot adopt both manner specific and also present manner in-specific. The orientation of purpose and specificity of the image is what determines it is art or pornography (Dennis, 23). In consideration of purpose and specificity creates an outline that differentiates the thin line between pornography and art. Hence something cannot be both art and pornography at the same time. Therefore, the common notion that something can be both pornography and art at the same time is unfounded and untrue. The notable meaning of the manner specific reads that the purpose should always be constituted by both purpose and coherent action. The purpose aimed at performing the action or also present an inherent state. Any failure to act corresponds to inability to undertake a purpose (Dennis, 28). 4. Fig: woman in a clear suitcase in luggage terminal in a German airport The artist was using images or photography in the transmission of his message. The use of the illustrative suitcase having a woman at a luggage terminal in a German airport is highly informative and is beyond textual representation. An old say goes, and an image is worth a thousand words. Use of images attracts close to 94% number of viewers. In different cases, texts with photos attached have close to 45% increase in readership. Scientifically it has been proved that photos or images have the impact of creating and generating visual stimuli that communicates and compels the undeniable, involuntary and inescapable view or read of the message. From historical basis, facilitation of proper visualization process has been key to comprehensive communication. The tactic has been taken up by journalists, advertisers and many other groups of people willing to undertake proper communication. The human audience quickly relates images to generate meaningful messages. The audience always like messages that are simple and fast to relate with even in an absence of text or few text messages. The provided image exhibits well designed and customized to caution against the human trafficking practice. The artist has effectively exposed the evils of using suitcase in human trafficking. The lady is exhibited to be exposed to many injuries, for instance, the backbone that remains exposed to a range of injuries. The woman is traumatized in the relatively small bag and cannot get any air to breath. Since the luggage passes through intensive x-ray screening, the images show the greater dangers the women is vulnerable to at the end of the mission. 5. The reflection on Paleolithic and Neolithic Mother Goddess figurines, Greek statues of gods and goddesses Hindu gods who possessed multiple arms and faces exposes an extreme case of human nature on exaggeration approach. Human have always practiced exaggeration especially on the major areas where they seem brings the about the features of the identity of the person /thing. Exaggeration of the main features of the person indicates exclusive traits of the personality. The artistic exaggeration in drawing/ painting arts and sculpturing shows the main predominant features of the personality. Maximization of the features like stomach, breasts, and many other features shows the closely the features that are notable in the thing (Roller, 1999). 6. The most important gaze is of the figures at the mid-ground who are looking at each other. The first and most important would of the people at the middle of the art. The people are centrally placed and have well-contrasting image that attracts the eye to their site without great difficulty. Due to poor color contrast, the woman in the right corner who is looking at the viewer cannot be easily seen. She is also located far away or aside and therefore it would take a viewer more time to locate her. The figures in the background who are looking at objects is also not very easily visible due to coloring of their clothing. The color of their clothes closely resembles the color of the background and, therefore, would take difficult times to locate them. The guard in the gallery who appears to be looking at the viewer from the door has been well indicated with the use of the color painting process. The guard poor positioning in the photo and, therefore, quick gaze at him may be impossible due to difficulty in his location. The figures at the other visitors in the gallery who appear to be looking at the viewer or in the painting may not be a point of gaze since his angle or position is highly inappropriate. He has seated facing inappropriate and therefore locating him in the crowd would be relatively difficult as compared to locating the two figure facing each other. In conclusion I think the figures that appear to be looking at each other are the main source of the first gaze in the artwork due to an excellent viewing position, well contrasting clothes and considerate angle in the paintwork. They appear as the main focus of the artist who drew the art. Works cited Dennis, Kelly. Art/porn: A History of Seeing and Touching. New York, NY: Berg, 2009. Print. Beck, Jerry (ed.) (1994).
