Blending color tone and texture as the overriding factors in the photograph elevates the quality of any work by a significant level. Repurposing an existing can create a new meaning. This has been seen from past creative works that have been placed in different settings for diverse roles that include learning and recreation. A critical assessment of the works belonging to iconic artists like Hannah Höch and Sherrie Levine proves this observation (Carroll, 180). Although these are personalities of Germany and the United States respectively, a sample of the works and repurposing aspect supports the renewed effect.

Both the artists repurposed past photographs to bring in new meaning. Although controversy may have arisen in terms of the legality of their actions, the level of creativity redefined from their works has stood to justify a different interpretation.
