Thus, they conflicted with traditional beliefs, adapted rationalized view of the living things and Earth as a natural scientific phenomenon, marred social norms and preferred individual style in conventional manner.

Moreover, they were in a state of denial for universal phenomena, encouraged secularism, persuaded and secured the idea of “I” rather than “We”. Hence, the age of enlightenment enabled people to put forth their previously unspoken notions about God, Devil, Angels and Heaven. Philosophy and Science gained absolute popularity among general public as people became more inclined towards empiricism introduce by John Locke, which encouraged individual rights and guarantee of social and political rights.

Philosophers persuaded the idea of freedom. Politically it established democratic and secular states, which were responsible to endorse individual of its rights. However, in the process of securing individual rights, political parties often tend to infringed communal rights.
