Venice is a safe city but always keep your valuables within sight at all times. Walking is highly advised, as that is one of the easiest ways to get around the city and still enjoy the beautiful sceneries. Justifications Couple A According to Bized (2006), the product must add value to its customers; hence, on day one the couple will take a gondola ride across the Venice town for some sightseeing as well for learning about the culture and history behind Venice city. Here I considered product and place, it is important to familiarize yourself with the city itself on your first day before anything else before anything else. I also considered price since by buying the Venice card that allows them to use public transportation they get to save a lot of money that they would have otherwise spend trying to look for alternative transportation. Day two, the couple will follow Casanovas footsteps, which is free. They get to spend quality time together bonding through the eyes of Casanova free. I considered place and price in this activity. These grounds will add a romantic value in their relationship and since they are on their honeymoon this activity comes in handy, “Price becomes an important factor for the actual service consumption to happen”, (Continuum learning ltd 2010). Day three the couple will meet for breakfast with the wives parents and then head over to the saint mark’s basilica, admire this magnificent structure, and visit some museums. Here I considered the people aspect. The two couples get to spend a half day together on this beautiful city and interact with the locals. I also considered physical evidence by having them take their breakfast at the prestigious hotel Danieli. “The environment related to a particular service is very important”, (Francesca 2009). According to Continuum learning ltd (2010), “the price becomes an important factor for the actual service consumption to happen”, so on day four, the couple will head down to the marina for some water activities. Here I considered price, the price to do scuba diving and the like at the local marina is cheaper compared to going off to other islands. The Venice card bought when they arrive, so it is cheap to hang out at the local marina, covers the transportation. Day five couple A will visit some of the galleries show casing local talent. The entrance fee is cheaper than visiting bigger galleries so price was my defining factor here. “Price becomes an important factor for the actual service consumption to happen”, (Continuum learning ltd 2010). According to the chartered institute of marketing (2009), “Anyone who comes into contact with your customer will make an impression” so on day six, they will engage in some competitive activities where they will have to work as a team. This will help them bond. Here I considered the peoples aspect as they get to join other locals in this activity and team up to compete together. Day seven, they get to travel to other islands and fish. This activity will bring them close together. Here I considered price as fishing is cheaper than going out to visit galleries, museums and so forth. “The product must add value to its customers” (Bized 2006). On the last day, the couple can just walk around and interact with the locals as they shop for souvenirs. I considered the peoples aspect here. Here I considered the product aspect since from walking around they get to understand the product (Venice city) better. “The reputation of a brand rests in the people’s hands”, (Evans 2008). The overall cost for my services would be 1750 pounds VAT inclusive. This cost includes only the activities that I have indicated price on them. It also includes all the bookings and preparations. Couple B According to Bized (2006) “the product must add value to its customers,” hence on the day of arrival, the couple will walk around the city and get to see the city first hand on the ground. In this activity, I considered the product. It is important for the couple to familiarize themselves with the city on their first day there. Day two, the couple will take a tour of the Grand Canal, one of the biggest attractions in Venice. Here I considered product and people. From this excursion, they will get to learn about the way of life of Italians. “The reputation of a brand rests in the people’s hands”, (Evans 2008). Day three, the couple will meet for breakfast with the new couple and then head over to the saint mark’s basilica, admire this magnificent structure, and visit some museums. Here I considered the people and physical evidence aspects. The two couples get to spend a half day together on this beautiful city and interact with the locals. . “The environment related to a particular service is very important”, (Francesca 2009). “The reputation of a brand rests in the people’s hands”, (Evans 2008). According to Brown, D et al (2008-2009) “place is a determinant when it comes to service utility” so on the fourth and fifth day, they will head off to the alpine town for some Olympic experience and hiking activities. Here I considered place and physical evidence aspects. This town is harbors amazing physical activities that the couple can participate in. Day six, they couple will engage in fishing activities as well as a join cooking class. I chose this activity, as they will give them important skills that they can carry home with. I considered the people aspect as through this they get to understand the people’s way of life. “Anyone who comes into contact with your customer will make an impression”, chartered institute of marketing (2009) The couple on the seventh day they will visit the Jewish Ghetto and learn about the Jewish way of life as well as come to appreciate it. According to the chartered institute of marketing (2009), “Anyone who comes into contact with your customer will make an impression”. The People’s aspect was my main aspect in this activity. On the last day the couple can visit the local markets for some amazing souvenirs to take back home. Price is one of the aspects that I considered here since they can visit the big designer shops around Venice city, “Price becomes an important factor for the actual service consumption to happen”, Continuum learning ltd (2010). The total cost for this stay is 4500 pounds VAT inclusive. This amount only covers the events and activities that have a price indicated.
