This is because it provides them with cost savings in hardware, software, and energy usage. It also provides them with higher productivity and efficiency. Cloud computing has given a platform to smaller companies on a level with multinationals. This is because all the companies now have the same facilities to advertise themselves whether they are giant corporations or small firms.

With all these advantages of cloud computing, the main issue that cloud computing still needs to address is security. As the technology is still in its initial stages, developments are taking place in order to make it more secure.
