What makes someone a hero essay professional? To be a famous hero, you should have undergone and conquered a particular situation, which is difficult for people to handle. In that case, it is not correct to identify a hero based on a career. For instance, you cannot say that firefighters and soldiers are heroes. As such, being heroic is determined by the person himself/herself, which makes them rise to the occasion. In case an individual is taking credits for something done by another person, then he/she is not considered to be a hero.

Heroes are defined if individuals are ready to save lives at no cost. For instance, it takes someone with a great heart to enter a building on fire to save lives expecting nothing in return. In such a case, the firefighter or the person saving lives is considered a hero. Being heroic entails endangering your own life or ego for the benefit of others. So, as mentioned earlier, champions are not determined based on a profession. For instance, if a firefighter successfully puts out the fire while standing outside the building, he/she will merely be doing the job.

As such, you cannot start calling them champions since that’s what they’ve been trained to do. Apart from that, they are paid to do the job. Being heroic entails a readiness to sacrifice your safety and life on behalf of others in the building. Moreover, a hero should possess certain qualities, which cannot be found in everyone. These qualities outlined in this include honesty or willingness to exercise justice, readiness to pursue life goals, the courage to deal with diversity, endurance in painful situations, and trustworthiness.

In that case, being heroic doesn’t entail being selfish. The kind of problems a hero is ready to solve must be prevailing and common to all. Even if there is opposition during the process of exercising a particular role, a hero will always be willing to strategize on how the main objectives will be achieved; for instance, how he/she will get to the building on fire to save lives.

As such, champions do not depend on the opinions or help of the multitude. The kind of service or good champions designed for the people doesn’t have to rely on the support of the people. It is all lies in the people themselves and how they are willing to use their power and skills to change the problematic situation during that particular time. From this, you will realize that the term ‘hero’ has been misused by many. Society stereotypes footballers, basketball players, and firefighters as champions.

How can you call someone being paid to do the job a hero? These people might not be able to sacrifice their lives on anything to be considered as champions in the building. Apart from that, they are practicing their career, which means they are even enjoying it. So, it is irrelevant to categorize professionals as a legendary person. In conclusion, this considers a hero as someone who can sacrifice his/her own life for the benefit of others. For instance, Mother Theresa is regarded as a hero since she could sacrifice her life to serve the world.

Moreover, heroes provide useful proof that nothing can’t be done in life. Champions believe in perseverance and conviction, which are outstanding life virtues that are only possessed by a few people around the world.
