Extract of sample "Role of a Person in Society"

This paper briefly explains my roles in the family and society and my rights and obligationsIn my family, I am the youngest son of my parents. At the same time, I am the youngest brother of my sisters and brothers. As the youngest son in the family, it is my obligation to look after my parents since, in our community, the younger sons normally look after their parents when they became aged and need support. So my main obligation in the family is towards my parents. In society, I should fulfill my role as a useful citizen of the country.

Since the government spends more money on my education and growth than I spend, I should have the obligation of serving society in a useful manner. Role theory explains that a person within a context appear as members of recognized social identities (or positions) and that they and others hold ideas (expectations) about behaviors in that setting (Role Theory)As a student I have the right to obtain a good education and also at the same time as a citizen I have the right to elect a government since I am staying in a democratic country.

In conclusion as a person, I have different roles in my family and society with different rights and obligations.
