Internship Journal - Assignment Example

Life provides a number of challenges. These challenges provide a means by which a person can navigate a given scenario. My first work as an intern has provided a new learning experience. The period has changed my means of learning and has opened a corporate understanding of the financial environment. The challenges are part of learning and the first week has created an avenue where I can apply my knowledge to real-life scenarios. The learning experience has been crucial, as I have been able to prepare myself for tougher challenges to come.  The tasks assigned [prove challenging while at the same time providing a learning experience.

 The first week has provided a transition period between my theory understanding of finance to the practical world. The tasks assigned to me have singled out my weakness and strength in matters of finance. Bills review, issuing checks, and data collection are among the tasks assigned to me. The audit assignments assign proves to be the major challenge. The challenge has widened my mind on financial issues. My focus aimed at analyzing the market and making informed decisions during my period as an intern. I project further challenges but through my acquired knowledge at the institution, I aim at overcoming these challenges and creating a suitable environment. My interaction with the management teams has been positive. I aim at learning from the seniors within the working spaces and interact with other staff to create suitable working conditions. The period would be essential as will be able to apply my knowledge to different environments.
