They can incorporate or adopt it as one of the company culture not to discriminate, in any form, whether explicit or subtle. This policy should also reinforced by concrete action of HRD department that includes penalty if there are complaints about discrimination to send the message that the company does not tolerate discrimination. It would also help promote non-discriminatory policy and practice by including this policy in the orientation of employees.
Also, businesses can further end discrimination by not considering the same discriminatory factors in the promotion of their employees. All promotions in the company will be considered solely by merit.
