All the aspect of the community inter link and form a society that is whole. The state promotes education so as to secure sound employment for its citizens and in return benefit from taxes. These taxes are what the government will use to run its operations. The perspective argues that the society operates on the bases of social consensus. This is also referred to as cohesion that is characterised by people working together to achieve a common goal. The consensus takes two forms namely mechanical solidarity and organic solidarity.

Under mechanical, people share similar beliefs and values. Organic on the other hand, people got varying beliefs and values (Reynolds, 2003). This perspective has its origin from Karl Marx pieces of work on class struggles. The perspective has its focus on the society on a negative way. It is full of conflicts and having a static nature. In contrast to functionalists who believe that there is coexistence in the society, the conflict perspective view community as dynamic and the few rich and powerful individuals force orders on the weak and poor.

According to Marx and other sociologist, the major conflict in the society is economic. However, in the Morden word, social conflict is arising in all the aspect of life. These include gender, racial, religion, political and economic among others. There is a lot of competition in the society among different groups which hold different agendas and values. This is what causes the ever changing society according to conflict perspective (Reynolds, 2003). The perspective is based on criticizing women subordination and the analysis of other aspects such as racisms, class oppression and heterosexist among others.

It focuses on resistance that people have developed towards subordination. It is thus against belittling and diminishing the power and abilities of a woman. Women have for long been regarded as the weaker sex. They are regarded as less masculine and culture has degraded their role.
