In a democratic society how can one offer restrictions on others self on the name of religion and terrorist activities How can a conflict between 'human right' and 'terrorist combat' can be resolved. It poses us a question about the meaning of life in free and democratic societies. When people say they are free, it means a number of contexts. One can feel free when he is free of doing what he please. So when he resort to terrorist activities affecting the freedom and lives of majority of people, do he deserve freedom Can we support the theory of curtailing freedom of few persons (terrorists or suspects) for the sake of freedom of rest of people The degree, to which the law should limit freedom, will be a matter of contention when the interests of equality and fair dealing were discussed.
Every body who wish and aim for an anti terrorism act will try to avoid the destruction of freedoms we cherish. So when talking about preserving the values, freedom and the liberalism the anti terrorist laws can take into account the freedom as what the whole nation is concerned of. The norms should be decided on the basis of the interests of all sections of people in the nation.

When freedom is offered to the citizens of a democratic country (here the term democratic is mentioned because the freedom in other forms of government cannot be considered as a complete freedom) it must be a responsibility of the administration to preserve and protect it. .The over enthusiastic acts of the law enforcement agencies when some problem arises or occurs in the society or when any on toward incidents happen in the democratic set up will cause dissent in some individuals. When that dissent was multiplied by the acts of extra independence by some individuals who are privileged in the society, it will be transformed into anti social activities and then to terrorism. Whatever may be the cause and reason for the terrorism and its perpetrators, it should be condemned and must be nibbled in the bud or the cause for it should addressed. Though this type of approach is capable of avoiding the recruitment for terrorist activities, some stringent laws should be enacted to avoid the selfish individuals to misuse the circumstances for their personal benefits. This type of laws in the system should ensure the punishing the perpetrators along with the reform of the executors.
This type of assurance will make freedom as the thing that suits the best interests of the people. This needs the cohesiveness in the society. That is possible when the individuals recognise their responsibility and the limits of freedom.
