It is therefore they can become an easy victim of the violence, molestation and abuse at the hands of cruel adult members of society. I have always been extremely interested in rendering my services for the welfare and well-being of these innocent flowers of nature. The main objective behind observing the same was offering the children, living in my area, a peaceful atmosphere of learning and getting socialized in an adequate manner and in accordance with the growing challenges life offers to man while entering into interaction with the individuals belonging to the divergent ethnic, racial, regional, religious and cultural backgrounds.
Though the contemporary world appears to be introducing tremendous alterations in all societies of the world, yet it is particularly the case with the multicultural societies of USA, UK, Canada, Australia and China. Since the members belonging to these societies come of different ethno-racial groups, they have to combat with the grave challenges appear in the wake of bias and discriminatory behavior of the dominant racial communities. The prejudiced behavior is sure to create feelings of hatred and abhorrence in the minds of the adult members, which is equally transferred to the brains of the young ones.
Consequently, bias could also be witnessed at school level, where the teachers and administrative staff members also display their bias towards some specific races and look down upon them. I had observed strict discipline in the coaching center, and would not allowed any kind of racial discrimination altogether. The evening coaching center got popularity, and the people from elite and middle stratum of society also got their children admitted at there. Hence, the black, white and Asian children became my students, and I got the opportunity of closely examining their activities and cognitive development process. Though some of the black students looked more active participants at class, the majority of white student turned out to be quicker in taking interest in learning.
Somehow, the black students displayed quick progress at the playground, while the Asian students looked more interested in books and reading materials rather than classroom and playground. My dedications to young students and command over exploring their psychology were equally impressive one for my parents, siblings and the people of my acquaintance. As a result, I got the opportunity of rendering my services as director of the small chain of daycare centers situated in the adjacent area of my residence.
It was the turning point of my life, and revealed my administrative qualities too as well along with increasing my passion for teaching the children. Since Maryland is ethnically a diversified state, due to the very fact nearly three fifth of the population was white, nearly one third of them belonged to black racial group, while over 5% of them came of Asian backgrounds. The children admitted
