Class status normally affects the individuals objectively, for example, an individual’s education, not forgetting the health and the lifestyles. Loury, Glenn C. Ethnicity, Social Mobility and Public Policy: Comparing the Us and Uk. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2005. Print. The author states that, in most cases, the inequalities are normally widespread in classes such as the poor, the middle class and even the youth. In addition to this, this aspect affects the minority groups more than any other people within the United States. Many American believe in moving ahead and succeeding even in the midst of recession issues. Most of these people are optimistic and hardworking persons. However, unemployment has been observed within lower ranks that include the middle class and the poor (Loury, 2005, 522). The poor, the middle class and the young may lag behind because of inability to access resources. The degree of mobility always makes the poor households so as to move out of this class. The statement to this research proposal is to answer questions regarding the social inequality in the United States as well as answering some factors that cause the social inequality between people. As it has been stated earlier on, social inequality is known to be a conflicting status which occurs in the society with regards to the individuals. Most of society’s inequality is attributed to the class status of a given group, which is determined by the race or the ethnics of the group (Macionis & Gerber, 201).   The conflict attempts to understand the conflicts of the group which might occur by the protection of individual status at the cost of the other.  The impact of social inequality in the United States seems to be frequently minimized, although it still exist .An inadequate distribution of wealth remains “an important component” of United State’s social inequities (Macionis & Gerber, 196).  All those are some of the factors that lead to the social inequalities. United State’s social classes are divided into different parts, and there is no equal distribution of wealth. Among the divided classes there are some people who are the working poor , since, their income are not enough for an adequate food or the shelter. One of the deciding factors which have been determining the wealth, the power and the social status in the United State is the occupational prestige (Macionis & Gerber, 168). Research has shown that most American are in poor health, and this affects all groups of people. However, the effect is severe for tribal and ethnic minorities within the United States. Moreover, the minority are the least people who are insured and have lesser access to quality health care services than other Americans. The issue above may be aggregated by income, insurance coverage and level of education (Mead et al. 2008). However women within the United States tend to earn lesser than their counter part males. This has been connected to the work that has to be done (Azmon, 2003, 105). Jobs done by women have been confirmed to be paying lesser than those done by men, and this brings the difference in level of incomes (Chant, 2010, 418). The solutions or measures to the social ine ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

Critical care orientation and the importance of developing clinical reasoning

...? I. PROBLEM: Registered nurses that transition/orientate into an intensive care unit do not receive enough orientation to develop the ability to clinically reason and key competencies/essentials needed to practice safely in critical care. Nursing education has understood the value of critical thinking as an essential nursing skill, throughout all the incarnations by which critical thinking has itself been defined over the course of the 19th and 20th centuries. The method by which critical thinking is defined will control how it is taught to the next generation, and to what standard of clinical excellence nurses will be held accountable. Critical thinking itself may be thought of in nebulous terms amongst nursing students... I. PROBLEM:...

Social Networking as a Method of Business Promotion

...?Business DQ1 The Sampling method or strategy is based on the function purpose and design of the research. The research methods are broadly of two types, namely: qualitative and quantitative. The qualitative research uses a sampling strategy which can be termed as purposive. Purposive sampling is achieved by designing the sample around specific individuals or groups that are likely to contribute valuable information towards arriving at theories and concepts pertaining to the research question (Dever and Frankel, 2000). This approach is different from probability sampling which is more appropriate for Quantitative research. Herein, the sampling is done with respect to a population base and each unit of the population has equal... DQ1 The...

The film Water as a characteristic of contemporary films made for the love of cinema

...? Research proposal The topic of this proposed research paper is: The film “Water” is characteristic of contemporary films made for the “love of cinema” , contravening the trend in post colonial cinema on the origin of oppression of women. The objective of this study would be to examine the oppression of widows portrayed in the film “Water”, to demonstrate that it is contrary to the image of oppression of women that was portrayed in post colonial cinema, i.e, as originating from colonial rule. The film Water gives rise to a new wave of thought about the origin of oppression of women in India in the post colonial context, i.e, that the source of the oppression lies in the cherished ritualistic traditions of Hinduism. In this vein... Research...

Optimizing the Water Injection System in the Offshore Drilling Wells

...? Research Proposal Optimizing the Water Injection System in the Offshore Drilling Wells Background ment When extracting oil from offshore wells, there pressure in the wells reduces as more (fluids petroleum) is extracted from the well. Thus, need to inject water in the well to maintain the high pressure within the well. In offshore wells, the water used from the sea, however this water is not pure and result in damaging the well, hence the need to optimize the water to obtain desired results. After the discovery of petroleum or oil has been made in an acceptable area of reserve potential, the main challenges becomes the manner in which to best optimize extraction of these petroleum in a way that produces an adequate returns... ...? Anomaly Detection Using Probability Distribution Method in computer networks al affiliation Anomaly Detection Using Probability Distribution Method in computer networks Introduction Information that is changed is supposed to have a certain typical distribution configuration. When information is changed, the distribution modifies from the typical format to a diverse format, normally differentiated by an error margin. The typical distribution assumption and errors representing other error numerical faults with detection techniques have to be employed to lock a network (Singh and Kaur, 2007, p. 107). These correction techniques need to be initiated through diverse ways of detection and existing digital computation methods... Anomaly Detection...
