The research describes the normal situation where people with disabilities feel degraded or dehumanized by the way many able-bodied people stare at their disabilities. The research focused on studying the interaction between able-bodied persons and Elton, disabled person. The study was rightfully conducted in the coffee shop as well as the public bar (Cohen 2007).
