The organization serves and employs persons of all cultures. This paper, therefore, will examine the social work practice of Catholic Social Service Immigration and Settlement Center.
In the Catholic Social Service Immigration and Settlement, there is essentially a mutual adaptation of members within the host community and newcomers. Principally, the social workers in the organization ensure respect for the distinctive worth and inherent dignity for all immigrants. The requirements of adjustment are likely to be engrossed upon newcomers, who customarily must make noteworthy adaptations. Just as any community that obtains newcomers is altered during the immigration and settlement process, the Catholic Social Service Immigration and Settlement is changed, too, unwillingly or willingly. Nevertheless, society social workers and the institution social workers have a dynamic, and not simply an unreceptive, role during the process: the centre, via its social workers, has an optimistic responsibility to acclimatize itself to the newcomers and afford them full prospect to provide the resources the newcomers demand.
