Students use these actions to gain victory in any manner possible. So to enhance ethical and moral behavior, unnecessary competition must be avoided. Further, the students must be guided that in daily routine, there are numerous occasions where they might confront moral questions. To cater to these, moral and ethical knowledge needs to be in mind.
The objective of the ethics committee
The ethics committee holds the responsibility to generate the conditions that are needed to aid the students in embracing and understanding the moral and ethical code of conduct. Also, it makes sure that the students are capable of applying this information in their everyday lives. Adding further, the committee is also accountable for promoting and presenting ethical policies. This is done especially in the regions of anti-corruption, human rights, and free competition.
The main objective that lies behind the HDL ethics committee can be divided into the following:
Higher standards of ethics are being taught in the program than in other graduate students
When graduate students are taught higher levels of leadership ethics, it encourages them to elicit higher ethics and moral responses in the future when such knowledge is applied practically. In the future, these students will be exposed to varying degrees of societal standards, time changes, and ethical techniques, a higher level of ethical knowledge would allow these students to demonstrate aggressiveness in this aspect. Once these students have been taught higher standards of ethics, they will be able to excel in their leadership even if they are faced with pressures. Such pressures force these leaders to move down a path that is potentially illegal as well as unethical. This would inevitably result in disaster. To prevent such events from taking place in the future, a higher standard of ethics must be taught to the students at the graduate level.

Qualities of an ethical leader:
For me, my ethical leader is my tenth-grade teacher. As a teacher, she was in a position to influence our behavior and possessed ethical responsibilities. I knew she was an ethical leader because of many reasons:
Normative leadership theory followed by the leader:
She followed two normative leadership theories. These were the servant theory and the transforming theory. I then servant-leadership theory because I always observed her share her power and always placed the needs of others, let it be students or other teachers, first. Further, she helped people to expand and execute as efficiently as possible. Secondly, she followed transformational leadership. This is because it is a style of leadership where the leader is charged with identifying the needed change and creating a vision to guide the change through inspiration and implementing the desired change by collaborating with specific members of the group. I had always noted her to serve by enhancing the performance, morale, and motivation of the students via certain different mechanisms.
Demonstrate ethical leadership by interacting with others:
My ethical leader demonstrated ethical leadership qualities when dealing with colleagues and always demonstrated equitable and just treatment to each and every one she interacted with. When interacting with others:
Cast light instead of shadow
Every action demonstrated by her toward her students, her colleagues, and also the school system reflected a great deal of ethical knowledge. Observing her ethical leadership style and manner and also learning these qualities from her provided a great deal of light on the topic of ethical leadership which has helped me and will help me in the future.
Self-reflection when interacting with them
While interacting with her, there came numerous instances where she shared her experiences with us. By hearing those stories, it became evident that when our age, she was just like us. But looking at her now gives me a great deal of confidence and support regarding my personality and future. She has motivated me to follow every situation in life with ethics and morals. I am certain that I will always confront different situations in my future with responsibility, respect as well as integrity.
