Ethics is regarded as the general reduction in that it allows one to have a wide range of ska ills that help improve the quality of life. Since ethics is considered general education, it covers several fields or topics such as cultural diversity, way of life, and the traditions in different societies. These allow one to understand the values that are accepted in different societies. In addition, one will know the extensive diversity of practices in different societies and this widens one’s mind with skills and knowledge (Paul & Elder, 2006). General studies provide a wide range of knowledge in that one is capable of understanding or acquiring much knowledge that will help in widening one’s mind and improve the reasoning capacity of the individual.

This is because general studies allow one to acquire knowledge from a variety of sources es. General studies include reading, observation, listening, experimentation, and many others. It may also include research and analysis (Andrew & Martyn, 2004). General studies enable effective communication, and creative and brand tical thinking in situations where technical decisions are needed. This is because it develops the reading, listening, and speaking skills that improve communication. On the other hand, an individual who has undergone ghazal studies possesses a lot of knowledge.

This knowledge allows one to analyze creatively and critically any situation and give the best solution to the challenges encountered. It also allows good coexistence in society as one understands the behavior of the other in society.  studies enable one to enable and distinguish what is good from bad and live according to the values that are needed in society (And& Martyn, 2004). In conclusion, general studies are important in the present world as it provides one with a wide range of knowledge and skills that help in improving the quality of life.
