I later found out that he had to undergo radiotherapy. It worked for a time, unfortunately, the cancer cells were not totally eradicated. All throughout I was intrigued at the process of examination and the use of such high-tech machinery. I knew I had to learn more to see how the human body really functions. Intrigue turned to amazement when I saw and monitored the fetal development of my own child. You get to see the wonder of life as it grows inside the womb. The high-frequency ultrasound is a true blessing to all mothers and fathers as well.

After monitoring such wonder several times, it dawned on me that this is what I want. I want to be in the same field of study. I want to be a radiologic technician. I knew it would be difficult to go back to school seeing that I already have children. I knew the problems in childcare, scheduling, workload, household concerns, and school assignments can be too difficult to handle altogether. Perhaps this is a contributory factor to my failing my first positioning class. But that is behind me now, it is of the past.

I have learned from the mistakes of the past. I know now what I must do and I am ready to make extreme sacrifices to make things work out this second time around. I have already lined up, inquired and inspected, several options for childcare for my girls. I have already set up a routine which is working well. At this time, the schedule for studying and library hours is used for reading and implementing study skills. This entails finding out which works for me. I have also been reviewing previous subjects I have taken and updating myself with new innovations and studies regarding said subjects.

I am excited and ready to return to school but I know that I have yet to prove myself worthy to be re-admitted. The fact that I have been previously admitted to the program is an indication that the admitting body agrees that I have the potential to become a Radiologic Technician. A potential that can be transformed, enhanced, polished and refined with the tutelage and guidance of the faculty and school administration. This assessment on the level of potentials and capacity of each individual is the thrust of this University.

It is for this reason that led me to come to this institution in the first place. Each person is treated and understood as an individual with different needs and existing under different circumstances that in the end affects his capacity to learn. I knew way back then that my situation was different and I needed a school that would understand that. Keiser University welcomed my individuality with open arms. I thank you for that. I know that I have failed you. But, I have learned from that mistake.

I have made preparations for this and have also prepared myself. This time, I will keep the trust you place upon me and I will do my very best to handle all situations. With your support and guidance; Our Lords strength and wisdom; and My family's love, I know that things will work out as "it always does the second time around."
