? SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT FUTURES SPECIMEN EXAMINATION and Sustainable Management Futures Specimen Examination Use of child labor in Developing Countries using the Ethical Perspectives a) Virtues ethics In the world, the largest number of the children is under child labor from age of 10 years and above. In developing countries, most of the children work to support their families, but that is not the case which is used to be there according to the government policies. In case a Child is under 18 years and employed signifies the act of child labor. It is extremely advisable to protect the interest of a child concerned in the society because children have their own rights according to the government policies and should not be exploited in any way (Baker 2012). The virtue theory explains about the morals behaviors which should be followed in the society. It argues that child labor is no longer good because in the developing world, they employ the child with less than 18 years hence they violate the laws. Children rights should be honored in every developing country though may not follow the law of the government and that is the reason why child labor is increasing instead of reducing. According to this theory, 2002, the cocoa boycott came in to practice the children placed in the plantation inform of labor. Mean while, the plantation was banned and then child labor stopped immediately. According to all the theories, there should be an effective and efficient strategy set-aside to protect the child labor from exploitation because no child who is allowed to work. b) Rawls Theory of Justice In this article, a value comes from the people in the society, and “therefore” justice is termed as a provision for entire basis in every individual. Some of the circumstances may force a human being to face some of the conditions with out the moral justice and judgment demands. Rawls arguments are based on the side of the system of justice where the idea of an individual is based on the area of his or her fate. Therefore, human beings deserve the ways of achieving their doings hence the provision of human rights should be maintained in the society. This is because of the commencing time which will really determine one fate. c) Ideological Ethics According the philosophers, they defined ideological ethics as a right for all human beings to make decisions and follow the moral values that pertains them. This theory states that child labour at this level is illegal because it affects the ability and also physical development of the child especially when the child is used as prostitution or drug trafficking in the society. This action firstly violates the law naturally because these children are supposed to be in learning institution. d) Teleological Ethics The philosophers try to have a concern on what happens after the moral dimension in an individual. This is compared to the consequences after the good doings of the ethical values in the society. This theory determines what comes after the moral values in the society done by individuals. The code of morality in the society is advocated inform of a natural duty performed by all man made creature in the society. According to this theory, children are not supposed to work under any condition because it is termed as an illegal to the law and a way of violating the laws in the government. The aim of the Teleological ethics is to promote the nature in relation to individual actions to be good at the end of the outcome (Baker 2012). a) Definition of Sustainable Development The sustainable development is the development that helps in achieving the needs of the present time without the relating to the ability of the future generation in meeting their own needs. These needs are termed to be the poor conditions in the world. The main aim of the sustainable development is to solve the problem in the environment and come up with the solutions of meeting the future needs. According to the common future in the environment, the sustainable development has the main key elements of needs and limitations which are concerned in the environment, economic and social well being of the society in relation to real life situation and present living. Physical and economic livings in the environment have to be determined as quality of life due to the world system because of the impact which is brought to all members of the society. The root course of the sustainable development from the system of thinking which helps to evaluate the needs in the environment. These needs have to be monitored and evaluated according to cause of the problem no matter how serious. a) The Kyoto Protocol in the Light of Emerging Economies According to the slogan in India, it is based on the potential investment on the form of the foreigners. For example, the BRIC economies, the aim is to make growing fast by 2020 making the world the largest. The philosopher argues that many people have the idea of growing economically but they are not sure of the returns after the investment. This shows that; there is lack of motivation in all technical staffs in relation to modern technology. One should not have any doubt of investment that may bring an improvement in the society to the sectors and also the consumers. One of the main determining factors is the population growth in the environment. In India, the economic growth determines the domestic consumption of goods. The only challenge to this is that they normally pay a high rate of tariffs when it comes to electricity consumption of power. The Kyoto protocol emphasizes on the growth and development in the society according to state of the environmental set up and the process of coming up with the solution of the problem. Environmental sustainability maintains the social interaction in the society in comparison to the ideas which comes out through the way of thinking and individual behavior (Baker 2012). Most of the critiques in this case have a relation to quality data as compared to the necessary resources in the environment. These critiques comes from the necessary project management through the community whereby the have to achieve the goals and objectives of the global level in every activity that takes place. Some of the policies which are not followed bring an impact in the environment thus causing an adverse in the ecology in relation to the economy. The improvement of this economy is compared with the quality on the market demand economy. c) Duty and Utilitarianism Ethical Perspectives in Environmental Sustainability The belief of the Utilitarianism is based on the side of the individual’s benefits where by it not good to harm some one in a bad way. The action should be good and effective hence should provide a better happiness to the individual but not unhappiness. The adaptation of better moral values should be put in practice by all the members in the sustainable development. In the review of the recent trends, it shows that market trade flows up to the international sectors which govern the economic integration of the potential implications in the sustainability of the development. The emission in this duty and utilitarianism ethical perspectives have a plan of trading which helps to reduce the cost of meeting the target goal. There should be an equal plan of the economic in relation to the cap and trade system. All the industries must have a plan of the cost of adapting the volatile market conditions which should be generally efficient and effective. This will help to get an outcome from the emissions tax. The number of the trade may continue to rise up in the global growth which is so enthusiastic to the participants. This should be done regardless of the crisis and intellectual property (Baker 2012). There should be new policies which address the policy challenges facing the global trading system region and also bilateral trade measures which might bring changes in the environment. Scenario 3 a) Definition of Loyalty And Integrity Loyalty and integrity have no much difference when it comes to the definition. in relation to sustainable development in business with the issues  in the society. Loyalty means the desire of someone being trustful and faithful to towards something or someone. In this case, it is the customer’s potential responses in the business while integrity means owner and respect towards issues involving some one or something. It is the ability or the trust based on the working relationship with the customers in business. b) Examination of Appropriate Examples on Agreement in Business Transactions The trust between the owner of the business and the customer is based on the trust perception and the integrity. All the business process should be operated in good terms of the trust building and global virtual teams measures in terms of reliability. It is so ethical in the creation of customer’s loyalty because it bids a genuine relationship thus maintaining them in the business. c) Literature on Code of Ethics from Organization and Employees In a world where business is operated and is not based on genuine terms, the chances of customers to quit are very high. People have a vast challenge in meeting their commitment in business one needs to make sure that he or she has a chance to deliver even in when life has challenges this will have a benefit to all the clients in the business. The goal of the customers is to inform other about the great deeds and the benefits of doing the business (Baker 2012). Scenario 4 Nature and Role of Values in Modern Organizations Response of Manager’s Ethical Issues at Work a) Traditional Traditionally, the structural theory is concerned with the social justice in an area of work for every social worker. The ethical concerns are in the area of humanistic thinking according to the social values in the society. This provides measures of certainty in all the ethics in the practice. This is a theoretical tool which is supposed to be followed but there should be a consideration to the area s of the social workers in their progression of their work. In the real life situation, the issues of traditional ethics have a wicked problem in view of cultural values and moral culture in relation to ecological condition. The emphasis is on the side of strategies for changing the traditional methods and the way of living to better modernization of better change. The sustainability of the ecology to all human beings focuses on the relationships between individuals and their natural environment. b) Modern In the perspective of the modernity life, the development of the foreign languages is in high demand thus bringing out a change in the environmental globe. The international development and forums should be based on the sustainable development and social development based on the standards of protection and sustainability of the standard systems in the industries. Currently, the theory has a vast concern on the area of examining the transformation of capitalism which brings a negative impact to the globe. By maintaining guidelines  offered by the government to articulate the system in a better way of maintaining the political alliances. c) Neo-traditional The critiques of sustainable development of the structural social work theory have significance to the structural approach according to the theoretical perspective between the human beings and the nature of the structure. The construction of the social orders come from the individual themselves thus offering the contribution participation in the world. There occur positive or negative impacts to all the social workers hence causing social control elements. The neo traditional elements should be analyzed on the theories strength and weakness. This helps to come up with decision making on how to provide a better direction of the moral practices in the environment. The concept of resolving problems on the weak areas in sustainability are in the area of effective and address justice. The quality of life should be addressed focusing on the needs of future outcomes on the sustainable development. d) Post-modern The post modern concepts is so important because it has the dimensions of the understanding the power which perceived in the productive side of the individual. The balance of power to the entire individual should be equal thus bringing a potential change to the environment. The authority creates a potential impact of change to all the social workers. The concept in this case is to empower the individual to all the social ethics in the society which are concerned in the sustainable development (Baker 2012). On the same, the interpretation of power is essential to the theories of all the ethics for the social workers in producing power according to the truth of the fact. For instant, society welfare should have a consideration in relation to child welfare in understanding of the concept and dimensions of mothering. According to the philosophers they argue that the truth is not discovered but it is enacted thus bringing out an analysis of the structural system of adopting new ways of position in living conditions. By recognizing the issues of culture; disadvantages are structural impact is on the perspective of evaluating the personal negligence. The strategies to these practices occur due to lack of resources offered by the structural theorists. All individuals are in need of the good resources but they are in adequate thus they advocate for additional ones by applying pressure on others. e) Pragmatist Pragmatists imposes a strategy of the practical reasons and opens up a complaint in relation to the environmental ethics which have not been passed out to be right or wrong in the society. The discussion to pragmatist, making of the theories to ethical and practical involves a broad agreement on the measures taken to the proposed ideas of problem solving. Discipline is the main issues of concern in moral theories which are justifiable to laws in the environment. Making ethical practical difficult because it involves some of the environmental policies imposed on the moral ethics (Baker 2012). Pragmatist may present an ethic of contextual problem solving according to political engagement. The pragmatists entail only two areas in the environmental ethics to be practical and available moral resources and the policy solving problems. Ethics are extremely essential because they emphasize on the effectiveness of the social response in accordance to environmental problems. In some areas, pragmatists may meet some challenges involved in environmental sustainability regarding the moral values of individuals. This can be solved by omitting the cultural values which can not assist the people. It is more interesting in this case because the strategies used can not generate the ethics in the community and at the same time solve the cultural problem. Provision of better management by the leaders in their working area may assist in the improvement of values and beliefs in managing the sustainable development. The community in this case builds up a frame work of identifying and solving the moral values in a better way. Ethical dimension should be handled by the mangers in a better way in order to have a better ecological system with better policies.
