Creation of a new Religion

Indeed, the world currently has witnessed the emergence of different types of religions and traditions apart from the normal religions and traditions that have been in existence. As such, even some individuals have formulated their own religions. However, these religions have not been quite different from what currently exists. Some of the most common religions that currently exist include Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, the Jewish religion, among many others.

All of these religions are not distinctive in a tremendous way. As a matter of fact, a majority of the underlying traditions behind them are more or less similar except for a few distinctions that are easily notable. For instance, through a vivid look at both Christianity and Islam, no significant differences can be pointed out except for the fact that Islam is characterised by the worship of Allah while Christianity is tremendously based on the belief of Jesus Christ as the sole saviour and son of God.

Furthermore, we have even seen the springing up of atheists and their concepts of atheism. Interestingly still, personally, I have been in confrontation with situations where atheists have moved to courts of justices in a bid to shield other religions from worshipping by virtue of the fact that the worshipping of God “offends” them. Interesting, right? However, from an honest opinion, the contrasts in religions has been a major factor for hatred that has significantly taken over the world.

For instance, we currently see hatred among Christians and Muslims whereby one side accuses the other of being pivotal in the rise of the Islamic terrorism that has significantly taken over some parts of the world and is greatly affecting all corners of the globe. In other instances, we have even seen Christians retaliating against Muslims in other parts of the world for a terrorist incident that had taken place while targeting the Christians.

Furthermore, we may witness hate between Hindus or Jews and atheists for the primary reason that the Jews and Hindus are of the feeling that atheists are in violation of the God they worship by disregarding or disputing his existence. Therefore, imagine of a world where we would only have one nice religion that would give each and every one of us autonomy over anything and everything.

Imagine if this religion would never be in violation of any freedom of its members. Imagine that it would also provide women with influence and recognition similar to men. This religion would enable all of its heads to raise families with their own wives too rather than placing boundaries on how they were to co-exist. Furthermore, imagine if this particular religion would have been essential in moulding children into strictly adhering to it even as they transition into adulthood.

Moreover, imagine if this religion would naturally mould its members into being morally-upright individuals without unnecessary restrictions. Primarily, a religion that would inspire its members to be self-driven without necessarily getting into their space. In the sections below, I will outline in details the kind of religion I think and dream of. This is the religion that would unite the world and make the world a better place.

For the purposes of making it easier, let me name my religion “Elite.” The members of the Elite religion would therefore, be referred to as “the Elites.” Most essential, the Elite religion would have a captivating book that would be essential in enabling its members to grasp what they were necessitated to adhere to. Furthermore, it is this book that would essentially mould and shape the Elite members into being perfect human beings.

For the purposes of this, I would also call this book “The Book of Elites.” The Book of Elites would be more of an orientation and nurturing book, similar to motivational books. It would largely aim at bringing the best out of the members of the Elite religion whenever they would simply read it. The Elite religion would distribute The Book of Elites to all children at birth so that at the reading age, they would immediately begin orienting themselves through reading it.

In this new religion, there would totally be no belief of any form of gods. However, The Book of Elites would be treated as the sole backbone of the Elite religion. This would contrast any given workplace or learning institutions where the regulations set about by the top brass are central in guiding all members and must strictly be adhered to by any of its members. Therefore, our belief would simply be on the Book of Elites and it would be accorded its respect as such.

Primarily, my reason for placing the Book of Elites as the “God” for the Elite religion is for the purposes of ensuring that all it spells out is highly respected and effected. We have seen incidences where the Quran or the Bible are disrespected although God is accorded tremendous respect. This would therefore, ascertain that all the writings within the book are highly accorded the respect and adherence they deserve.

The major incentive for utilizing the book of Elites as the “God” in the Elite religion is for the purposes of prospectively averting any form of blasphemy that may potentially arise through the disrespect that may often be portrayed towards God. Furthermore, only the teachings given by the book will be upheld tremendously and accorded the respect that they indeed deserve. Therefore, each and every one would be required to treat the teachings as their God and thus, respect and actualize them.

Within the Elite religion, there would be the existence of angels too. However, the major functions of these angels will only be to watch over each and every member of the religion that adhered to the teachings laid out by the book of Elites. Angels, in this case, will serve as guides to those who do not adhere to the teachings of the Book of Elites. As their guides, the angels are therefore, mandated to assist them in conforming to the teachings of the Book of Elites.

Furthermore, there will be a section of angels that will be highly dedicated to those who adhere to the religion’s teachings. As such, these angels will be essential in seeing to it that the requests or wishes that are made by those in adherence to the teachings are answered. In the Elite religion, there will exist prayer. One will be mandated to read any chapter within the Book of Elites and consequently, pass a prayer request.

Once a prayer request is sent, the special angels will assess the characters of those making the prayer requests and consequently, answer to their plights immediately. However, only those who adhere to the book’s teachings would receive answers to their prayers instantly. Furthermore, as mentioned earlier, there shall exist a group of regular angels who will simply act as guides whereas the special angels will be responsible for answering prayers. At death, those that adhered to the teachings of the Book of Elites shall be initiated as regular angels and after a period of such duty, promoted to being the special angels.

There shall exist no hell or Satan. Since the Elite religion values the lives of its members, those who do not adhere to the book’s teachings will only be admitted into heaven where the angels would reside from, and consequently, act as servants to any angel in heaven – whether regular or unique. Acting as servants for the angels would be eternal and would serve as the best punishment to those who failed to conform to the book’s teachings.

Failing to adhere to the teachings set about in the Book of Elites will be highly considered a sin. Within the Book of Elites, sin will be categorized uniquely. For instance, the book will emphasize that albeit actions such as adultery, fornication, stealing, among others are highly prohibited and discouraged, each and every one was at free will to do so. However, they are to all outline valid reasons on why they took part in such actions through a special prayer to the special angels. For instance, if a man stole food due to hunger among his children and was lynched in the process, those who lynched him would be considered sinners.

However, murder or shedding of blood by a human being to a fellow human being was significantly prohibited and would equate an unforgivable sin. Those who take part in murder or shedding of someone else’s blood would never be forgiven and thus, would work at the worst places while serving as the servants to the angels. This would see to it that the pain of those they committed the sin upon was alleviated through eternal suffering. On the other hand, those that would be victims from such inhumane and sinful acts would automatically be admitted as regular angels while in heaven.
