Why America Has Almost No Religious Tension - Essay Example

If I am to believe the statistics, America would have been comparable to Latin American countries where Christianity permeated in all aspects of the people’s lives.  The fact however is that most Americans do not place that much importance to organize religion but rather on spirituality.   

            Instead, I am more inclined to believe that America is a tolerant country when it comes to religion.  It has diverse religions where all stand equally with each other.  No religion is preferred over another and religion cannot interfere in state matters.  Everybody is also free to exercise their own religion or faith. 

Reflecting on it, this explains why America has almost no religious tension.  It may have other issues such as race discrimination but America is never known to have tensions when it comes to religion.  It also advocated that the rest of the world be also tolerant to minimize conflict caused by religion.
