Means Tested Programs are federally administered programs which make benefits available to those individuals whose income and other forms of financial properties meet certain conditions. There are two types of this program: the cash and the non-cash assistance that are available to citizens who meet low-income requirements in the United States of America. Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) are two examples of this program. Certain requirements need to be met first in order to receive SSI assistance. By and large, requirements are defined by the conditions like blindness, age category or disability. Explain why and what ways the federal government is involved in state run public education The roles of the federal government carry on to be the delivery of oversight across-the-board, sufficient funding and assistance for the states and its public education system. The mandate that necessitates important intervention and supervision at the federal level constitutes the higher education standards, protocols, enhanced accountability systems, and literacy agendas.
