Nuclear proliferation has been one of the major problems in modern society and it has breached global security concerns. The nuclear proliferation of the countries depends on various factors like the Technology, external conditions and the internal conditions. With the development in the civilization, it has to be stated that the level of technology has developed. However, the desired level of technology needed for the development of nuclear weaponry is not available to all the countries. It also depends on the external conditions of the countries.

A country that has aggressive neighbors can be influenced to have the nuclear weaponry. However, there are instances where countries lying in the same situation not opting for the nuclear weaponry. In that case, the countries may look to form allies with a superpower. This saves the country time and money in the nuclear issue. The domestic conditions of a country can influence the proliferation of nuclear weaponry. The conditions in India and Pakistan influenced the proliferation of nuclear weaponry.

Several countries may think of assimilating the weaponry but never do so. A country that has tested the weapons or has assimilated the range of weaponry is termed as a proliferator. A country that made an attempt for the pursuit of the weaponry is also said to be a proliferator. Therefore, there are many countries in the world that have been a proliferator of nuclear weapons. This has been a problem for the global security concerns as this can have a disastrous effect if any kind of war breaks between two countries in the possession of the weapons.
