Creation vs. Evolution Imagine if you walk to the zoo and in front of you are a family of gorilla. Will you admit if they are your ancestors or thatwithout the evolution, you would be as the gorillas are? I can assure you that no one would be pleased to admit so. We are living in the era of focus orientation, knowledge naiveté, objectivism (Sayer, 1992), and science is replaced by skepticism (White, 1999). Men are addicted to practicality rather than science (Tocqueville, Democracy in America) that they ignore the true value and mission of education (White, 1999). Professor Morreale of Walden University once said in the class, “If too many people are involved in public policymaking, it will create a tremendous trouble to the government.” Many people are getting involved in the government policy process because they are being deluded by market politics. Many consider public policy as individual interests (Denhardt, Denhardt & Aristigueta, 2002). Each person is eager to promote his or her interests because they thought it was public policy. Nevertheless, the result has been inequality. The government as well as the judicial system has marginalized the citizens because of their ethnicity, race, education, income, even religious belief. “Spiritual things are spiritual discerned” (White, 1982, http://www.grisda.org/resources/GRI/req_egw#SCIENCE%20AND%20REVELATION). The teaching of God is banned from the school because people cannot comprehend God. However, they can easily be swayed by the teachings of spirituality that have nothing to do with God. The theory of evolution describes that from a simple living structure, man “can gradually evolve into ever higher forms of life, finally bringing forth man” (Nichol, 1862 http://www.whiteestate.org/issues/amalg.html). The Darwinian theory of evolution is not a fact, never been tested for its truth. Many have accepted it as the true ideology but it is only a delusion (Schwarz, 1983). Concerning the teaching of Darwin, White stated “There are men who think they have made wonderful discoveries in science. They quote the opinions of learned men as through them considered them infallible, and teach the deductions of science as truths that cannot be converted... It has clouded their minds, they have drifted into skepticism” (ibid). The Associated Press wrote about the US District Court that ruled against the teaching of Intelligence Design in public schools (Kitzmier vs. Dover Area School District) because he was ruled by his own wisdom. In his ruling, he stated that it is “unconstitutional to teach Intelligence Design as an alternative to evolution in public school science classroom” (The Associated Press). In doing so, he indicates his misunderstanding of the true object of education. According to White, “The true object of education is to fit us to the service by developing and bringing into active exercise every faculty that we poses” (ibid). Man may ignore or become ignorant to Gods existence but science proves that God exists. There has never been any proof concerning evolution or that man does evolve from an ape. Wrong education, said White, “often starts the mind in the road to infidelity” (ibid). Then we are wondering why Osama bin Laden calls every person who denies Gods existence as “infidel.” Men are becoming addicted to practical knowledge (Tocqueville, Democracy in America) buried in a focus orientation and we have believed in wrong doctrine, which has been accepted as he truth (Schwarz, 1983). America is established based on biblical principles. All things are given to us through him – things that are pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). A “knowledge of God is foundation of all true education ... it is the only safeguard against all temptation” (White, 1999, 270). At times such as today, times of increasing crimes, economic disasters, natural disasters, and men are being drifted to follow wrong ideology; this true education is needed more than ever. Erroneous doctrine is dangerous to the survival of human beings. While the proponents of evolution cannot prove whether evolution does true or not, but the nature and all things in this world declares the glory of God, as stated by Psalm. It is not a pervading principle or an actuating energy. The theory of evolution represent “cheap fallacies for those who are easily led into error, and desire something new, odd, or fanciful, which they cannot explain intelligently, or even understand themselves” (White, http://www.grisda.org/resources/GRI/req_egw#SCIENCE%20AND%20REVELATION) but simply to declare it “unconstitutional.” Under the fascism, Dr. Britt (2003) said that the interests of the elites are protected. Judges tend to declare social issues as unconstitutional because many are being appointed to the position based on their ability to raise fund for political associations rather than merit and qualifications. They make decisions because they have similar bias and based on their own interpretation. When judges are elected or appointed not according to merit and qualifications, they tend to express their lack of science in the way the make decision. Their decision represents also their obligation to protect those who have made significant contribution to their appointment. On the other hand, judges tend to make a quick decision by declaring “unconstitutional” as a device to clear the federal bottleneck of cases that are deemed meritless (Thomas, 2007). At the same time, they are increasing public sentiment toward public officials because they are establishing the precedence of marginalization between ethnic and religious group. It is a symptom that indicates how justice has been perverted. According to Mathews, Zeidner & Roberts (2004), scientific concept should be free of social values but intelligence is an important part of many cultures. If evolution is allowed to be thought in school under scientific subject, intelligence science should also be thought because by banning it on behalf of separating the state and religious argument means that the state has done injustice to both human beings who believe in religion and to the science itself. Pluralists have been undermining science by embracing aptitude and knowledge or general ability, but in a culture where knowledge is generalize and intelligence is taken out of science, then the ability to learn, know, and understand intellectual mind is diminishing (ibid). Mathews, Zeidner, & Roberts (2004) do indicated that intelligence is a necessary prerequisite for a person to be successful in life and it is multifaceted. Parents as well as scholars who consider intelligence science such as religion as part of creationism in disguise are just as ignorance of science. Or as Rotberg (2006) put it, they are knowledge illiterate. Fred Hoyle, a theoretical physicist and agnostic once wrote that intelligence design has been missing from science. In fact, it is farther than science. Ray Robin, a biologist, wrote The Natural Limits to Biological Change, even proved that intelligence science is a modern science. He said, it is an evolutionary theory that is rooted in science not simply religion. In the Vancouver Sun, edition October 31, 2008, it said that intelligence design “goes beyond biology and encompasses physics, chemistry and cosmology” (https://www.canada.com/vancouversun/news/letters/story.html). This statement proves what the Bible says that “heaven declares the glory of God and the firmament sheweth his handywork” (Psalm 19:1) – the most compelling evidence of the cosmic design of God. Thomas Nagel on ID and Evolution did say that the exclusion of the teaching of Intelligence Design is a threat to individual rights (Future of Humanity Institute, 2008). It may have connection to religion but both science and religion do explain the existence of human being, and how it forms from a sperm and grows into a human. Some scientists do not believe in Christianity but they cannot explain the sophisticated of our cosmos even the design of human nature. Philosophical speculation and scientific research do not acknowledge God, make skepticism to be attractive to human mind, and they are deceived (White, 1999). But soon, they all will reap the price of infidelity. References Denhardt, R., Denhardt, J. V. & Aristigueta, M. (2002). Managing Human Behavior in Public and Nonprofit Organization.
