When taking measurements, it is significant for the user to adjust the device accordingly so as to have the reading in desired units. In addition, the user needs to turn on the alarm component that activates the auditory and indicating lamp whenever the set-point is exceeded. The alarm system will be operated by an acknowledgement switch that can also serve to adjust the rating that further widens the range. This precaution will prevent exceeding of the range where the maximum reading will not be the correct one. After taking these precautions, the user should make the reading and record the same accordingly.
After making the required reading, the user should disengage the device from all presetting done on it. This is a precautionary exercise that will make it easier for a consecutive user to work with the device. Being a lab apparatus or industrial equipment, the device requires proper handling and storage.
