Summary
From the paper "The Original Horizontality Principle" it is clear that generally speaking, dates that are formed with a proper sequence are called as the relative dates whereas numerical dates exactly locates the time of events in the year when they occurred…

Extract of sample "The Original Horizontality Principle"

The original horizontality principle allows us to assume that the bed was tilted after the deposition because this principle states that the sedimentary layer was horizontal at the time of the deposition of the bed. No there isn’t any place on Earth where a complete geologic column exists (Pitman).
Answer #5
Elaborated examination of rocks for the past 150 years around the world, based on stratigraphic correlation, has permitted geologists to show a relationship between rock units and to split them into time units. All periods on the geologic column don’t last for the same amount of time as it splits relative geologic time into identified relative age units.
Answer # 6

The method of creating equivalency of rock ages, units, events in the history of geology (for example events about the structure or movement of the earth's crust, faults, unconformities, and so on.), and depositional environments in different areas are called as correlation.
Fossil organisms are very useful in correlating strata because these have specific characteristics (for example assemblages of organisms and great diversity) of beds that are deposited at some point in a specific geologic time.
Answer # 7
Igneous rocks are best for radiometric dating because the crystals of rocks are approximately the same age.

Answer # 8

The process in which a radioactive element (parent Element) spontaneously decay into another element (daughter element) is called radioactive decay.
Answer # 9
The fraction of the element that remains after 96 million years is given as;
96/16=6
And the percentage is 100 percent divided by two into 6 times leaving 1.56 percent.
