Career Application and a Christian Worldview Introduction Human beings usually live their lives in a worldview perspective. These world views include natural philosophy which is fundamentals, existential and normative postulates. Worldview also includes themes, values and emotions and ethics. Worldview can also be seen as a framework of ideas and other beliefs which help to form global description in which human beings and the culture at large watches and embraces and interacts with it. Prussian was a philologist was the founder of the idea that the worldview and the language are inextricable (Wilhelm Von Humboldt 1767-1835). He defined that the culture, language and linguistic communities usually develop simultaneously and they are related. They all require one another in a way making them to co-exist with each other. Humboldt believes that human beings play part in the creative exchange and and they play their part by taking charge of the speech that they use and slowly continue to modify the language. In the 20th century, philosophical importance of the worldview became clear to the people in the world. Philosophy is the study of the fundamental problems that are in a way connected to the reality, knowledge, values, reasons, mind and language. James W. Sire in his own ideas defines worldview as an orientation of the heart and can be expressed as a story which may be true or not and it holds a very big part in the construction of the reality. Sire goes ahead to say that the all the people decisions and actions should rely on the worldviews consciousness and this will help people be able to communicate genuinely with all the other people. Worldview is a broad topic and it touches on most of the fundamental factors that are related in a way to the society that we live in and the world at large (Hebert, 2008) Body Having looked at the worldview and religion, it’s time to look at the Christian worldview as a whole and specifically on the kind of steps that can be able to integrate faith of Christian. Christian worldview is simply the framework of ideas and beliefs that people who believe to be Christian and groups of culture interprets and interact with the world. In the modern world, different kind of Christians have different believes and this brings around disputes of the meaning of concepts in a Christian worldview. Talking of different Christians, it’s the different denominations that different Christians have and are willing to follow to the end depending on the kind of beliefs that they have. Northrop Frye tells the world that the Bible is one of the system metaphors that represent the Christian worldview. The Proper Model To best demonstrate the issue of proper model is the look at the college and the universities in the United States (William, 2003). Twentieth century has seen the moral degradation in a way that even the leaders of institutions rarely condone drinking, dancing or even sexual behaviors which extend to even marriages that even sex outside marriage is not seen as a big problem. These just shows how much infidelity has grown and the kind of work that needs to be done so that morals can be brought back to the society. By this to be accomplished, there should be foundation of institutions that would help to guide the Christian worldview (Dengerinck, 1996) A Christian Worldview. Worldview is the intellectual, moral and ethical behaviors through the experience of life and the kind of conclusions and forms (William, 2003). Human beings have their different worldviews that are different from the rest of the people and the different worldviews of the people depends on the different influences that they have been able to get along their life. According to the Holy Scripture, the relationship of Jesus and Christians all depends on the kind of values that Christians have. This calls for the cooperation of the different aspects of theology such as ethics, nature as well as the revelation of Christ to Christians. Intentional Influence In a way, intentional influence is of much value to the community as it has different impact on people. Adoption of Christian higher education in a way helps the community at large as it goes way beyond the traditional believes of the people and this makes it to be valuable in that it has impacts in the lives of men and women in learning institutions. In reality, the modern world and the modern society and community at large has been slowly but sure abandoning the moral values of Christians that different foundations are working to set straight. I will like to market the moral importance to all that are seeking higher education that they can be able to be high moral and ethical characters. This goes a long way to increase the discipline of most of the people. It’s hard to know what people believe, what they think and what leads them to make certain decisions in their lives and these why there need to be more relation in the foundations that are looking forward to improving the morals of the Christians in such institutions. Makin It Real Christians needs to have a clear relation with Jesus. In scriptures that we read, Jesus is associated with ethics, his missions and his nature. So in real life, ones Christianity is defined on the kind of actions that one takes. Faith and beliefs are the core virtues that determines how one acts. These calls for the creation of strategies that institution will adapt to change the life that they live. Summary In the institution that is usually based on offering higher education, there have been a noticeable moral degradation and this is alarming in a way. Moral behaviors start from our home all the way to the institutions (learning). The best place to shape the people’s lives is the institutions that they spend most of their time at. Different institutions should form different foundations that will work on setting up structures that best suits the culture of the people around. Proven evidences show that people are driven to do things according to what that they believe. What that they believe is caused by the beliefs of the community. This calls for the enlightening of the people so that they can act according to how life keeps changing. People in the world need to know that good morals play part in the kind of achievements that one gets. In the life today, good achievements are usually seen when someone is morally upright. Human beings are in a way being reflected on the kind of life that Jesus Christ used to live. In most of the scriptures, He is seen to be advocating for peace, love and unity. His nature, his ethics and his mission on earth should be the kind of life that Christians should all look to (Abraham, 1931). The faith of the people and their beliefs should all be up to a certain moral standard that is acceptable to all the people in the society and the kind of life that human beings live should bring up minimal criticism. Conclusion Having been a tutor for three years, I have been able to come in touch with different people. Problems that usually face learning institutions are usually similar. Institutions need to enroll students in course and there should be certain rules that the institutions needs to embrace. Students should be given course in Christian worldview and this will play a big part in making them be able to acquire new ethics that may be of help. These new ethics will go a long way to have an effect in their lives because their education goes a long way to impact the lives of the people. Institutions should also form foundations that will come to the attention of the students in schools. These foundations will go a long way to influence the kind of lives that people live. Such foundations usually bring up movements that advocates for certain actions to take place. These movements usually are sometimes recognized by the world and some other institutions may come to support the movements and make them stronger. Bearing the knowledge of English and computation science, communication is a key factor. People should be given the opportunity to showcase their talents and be able to have effect in the people’s life. Students should be made to see their life differently and they will be made their life different. It’s a matter of making people believe in their potentials, the abilities that they have and the impacts that they can make on the society. Abraham Kuyper.
