World Civilization World Civilization Accordingly, this paper outlines several issues on world civilization as addressedby several writers. It is pertinent to note that all argues in comparison to two or more parties. Considering the source book by Friederich Engles, it is clear that the book narrates the process of change form a dark environment to the light of cotton manufacturing center in the state of Manchester1. On other hand, Chadwick’s report concerns sanitation and the main point here is that the root cause of disease is the vegetable substance and the decomposition of the animal. However, the book titled women miners; insinuates that gender is not an issue when it comes to mining process. Lastly, Florence nightingale talks about the transition of a woman from domestic chores to career pursue. In precision, essay evaluates the aspect of social, cultures, and political development of different ethnic groups basing evidence on the above named books. To start with, Friederich argues that south east of the Lancashire developed to a cotton center due to its geographical advantage. Here, due to its closeness to the liver poll port, railway ensured a good service of transportation2. Again, power sources were near for instance the waterpower of the mountain chain of Pennine was essential in the running of the industry, and the above mad Manchester the pioneer of modern industry. The author of the book by the name Friedrici Engels worked at the Manchester factory that the owner was his father. Having put that across, it is obvious that Friedrich had pertinent experience, which he combined professionally to give out good conditions of working class in England. The book originates in Manchester, a city that lies at the southern range hills’ foot, and the city was still in darkness and a poorly development environment. The above book is a philosophical treatise since the information about the geographical, the development and social aspects of the individuals on Manchester is mentioned. Generally, this article was written to emphasize the fact that Friederich Engels was made it possible for the city of Manchester to develop by the stabilization of the cotton factory. Second, it is clear that was circumstancing the darkest part of the Manchester before its development. Lastly, it is important to heed that the book points out that the key aspect of a community development is industrialization. Further the book argues on the poor environment in Manchester, and this is evident to the manner to which author illustrates the poor constructions and even the courts’ environment. The intended audience here is the historian scholars because; the book outlines the historic nature of the Manchester before the development t of the cotton industry, which did shed some light on the scene. The reading provides the developing society due to industry development. Further the document portrays several factors to the producers, for instance, producers cherish the fact that industrialization can change not only the appearance but also the live as of the native to a more meaningful life. Edwin Chadwick on the other hand is interested with sanitation and so his document is a report on the cause of diseases. The document insinuates that the decomposing animals and the vegetation substances cause disease as well as overcrowding of individuals whether rural or towns. Edwin wrote the above document and at that time, it is possible that diseases were common and that is why Edwin moved from poor law reforms to sanitary investigation commission3. This document is a letter probably being written to the ministry of health on sanitation. It is pertinent that the letter was written to educate the community on how to evade disease, and it is true that the document was circumstancing the rapid growth of disease. Apparently, the document insinuates the document insinuates that diseases are caused by the human activities, that is vegetation factors brought by human, overcrowding in a living room just to mention but a few. The intended audience here is the community at large, since the document educates on the cause of the disease4. Frankly, the document gives out a picture of a contaminated drinking water in London. Again the document consists of statistics that were med on individuals who were living in a different environment for instance those who are living in a bad ventilated houses are prone to death than those who take part in wars,. Importantly, the producer of the document is haters of the disease and so, they are fighting for the eradication of the infections. Elaborately, the document points out that the society concerns are careless on the matters of health, more so, they are not well educated on sanity and that’s is the community is sickly. The book women miners on other hand the writer did center the argument on the nature of jobs in the society of England. Here, it is true as per the document that women participate in mining in only in certain states for instance Lancashire and Yorkshire. The above evident the fact that women whether young or old and children of tender ages do not work in any kind of job they wish. In the above named districts, it is unfortunate to realize that men work in a naked state in cooperating their women and children. The above paper was written in Britain where mining was a primary source of money5. Notably, the paper is a philosophical treatise, since the message here surrounds the social life of the England natives where a state like Lancashire allows women and young children to take part in mining despite of the nakedness during the mining process. Fortunately, the document is written to alert the miners of their moral where it is not wise to engage women and young children in mining process since when mining takes place, it is evident that the miners strip naked to avoid their clothes from getting dirt. Actually, this document portrays dignity level in the society. Where it is important for the community to embrace dignity and in so doing, culture will be preserved. The document further argues on the issue of the mining process. Here this document explains how mining process is done, and the attires that miners wear before taking in the part. Notably, the intended audience here is both the human rights activist where the paper outlines the involvement of children in hard work like mining. Again, those who are concerned with culture preservation are supposed to be the audience of the above document. Since it is unfortunate to realize that culture is, being eroded and individuals are still violating the fact that nakedness is not supposed to be exposed to young children. It is wise to realize that the authors of this document are keen enough to provide a conversation. It entails that they went further to talk to girls at the mining scene in person6. The girls says that sub commission by the name J.C Symons is the chief performer and that he performs all the various offices, for instance hurrying and trapping of the coal. Individuals who produced the above document were concerned on the level of ethnicity in the society. Again, child abuse on labor is a key factor in this document7. Further, the document informs the reader on how the setting of the society is immoral. It is not wise for the adults to show off their nakedness to the young children and women at the site. It is noteworthy that Florence nightingale; in her book rural hygiene, she based her argument on the following things. First, she was a saint in humanizing nursing between the year 1851 and 1854 during the Crimean War. Here, the document points out the notion of women transiting from domestic convention to engage in career. After moving from Crimea, she decided to work in public health, sanitary reforms, and hospital administration area with the use of the unsentimental statistical data. Primarily, the article articulates the drainage system and present state of the rural hygiene. She narrates that despite of a number of poor cottages being unfit for human consumption, still individuals inhabits it due to lack of constituent accommodation. Thus, she goes dipper to explain how stagnant water can be unworthy thus the need of a good drainage system. To crown it all she argues that water supply is situated in a very awkward place either next to a huge collection of house refuge, a previous privy pit just to mention but a few. Therefore, due to the above, she outlines the fact that many shallow water supply in community is not well taken care of. Having put that across, it is essential to realize that the document is written basing on the several statistics and investigations. After that, there were tabulation of the microscopic exactness and following the mathematical accuracy. To crown it all, she did fight for the drainage system where she argues that to some extend it was the cause of diseases in community and so she wanted to educate the concerned. The above book was written in the New York town and here the main activity was that community had fallen into pits of dirtiness and so she took the mandate of rectifying the situation in form of a report of a letter8. Primarily, rural hygiene is book that educates community on how to make a viable drainage system; again, it emphasizes the aspect of sanity in rural environment9. Circumstances under which this document was written was the influence of dirty and education to the community on the importance of the sanity in the rural area, and it reflects the importance of cleanness and care. Additionally, the article articulates that it is wise to take care of children since during rains, they tend to play in privy waters, and the above can affect them10. Therefore, the document adds the argument concerning children’s care. Notably, the document points to the community as the audience and it is a letter to the health ministry. Particularly the document outlines several evidence among them being the evidence by the local government where the research was done on several villages and a small town, luckily, it is a recent instance, and so it meets the accuracy. It is worth to note that an author who was bitter with the insanity of the rural area wrote this article. Therefore, she opted to take care of the education and illustrating how underground water is contaminated after which it causes the disease11. Again, the issues of taking care of the wells and pits is narrated hence it is wise to acknowledge that the paper is very educative when it comes to matters of rural drainage system and rural hygiene in general. Here, it is pertinent to note that the community that the document points out is ignorant when it comes to sanity of water. Comments Article on Manchester written by Friederich in the year 1844 outlines the importance of using geographical location to utilize the available resource. Further, industry up lights the environment of a place. The second document by Edwin written between 1800 to 1890 argues on the perspective of the disease that the main form of disease is atmospheric impurities and vegetable substance, argument in this document is not absolute true since nowadays there are a lot of impurities other than decaying animals and vegetarian that cause disease, for instance chemical reactions from industries. Document on women miners is very educative since it alerts the erosion of culture and so warns the concern of it. Lastly, rural hygiene by Florence is influential since it elaborates the rural sanity mostly caused by stagnant waters. Bibliography Vigier, Francฬงois.
