Slick Sales Introduction If one takes a close look at the society, one can not help noticing that it should be regarded as an irreplaceable prerequisite for the development of the inner potential of a human being. In addition to that, the idea of prosperous living in the society is closely connected to having a job which ensured a steady source of income. Nevertheless, the income disparity in every society becomes evidence which leads to the emergence of several theories of justice, each of which puts emphasis on a different aspect of this notion and ultimately leads to a completely different outcome. This paper will provide a theoretical analysis of three different centers that designed according to three different theories of justice. Part 1 The first center that will be examined will be structured according to the Utilitarian theory of justice. Thus, this model fits the Utilitarian theory of justice in the following way: it provides opportunity to earn a lot to those who are able to benefit from it the most and it also advocated the necessity to take care of the staff in general. With this in mind, it is important to note that health insurance benefits will be provided for all employees since according to the Utilitarian concept, social welfare should be seen as a moral policy that should be implemented (Shaw, 2013). The Libertarian theory of justice advocated the notion that people should be held responsible for their success and failure, so the government or the company should not interfere into their affairs and only make sure that the conventional rules are not broken. According to the theory of Egalitarianism, every person should be treated equally and without any differences, regardless of one’s talent and ability. In spite of the fact that at first this seems as a perfect model, the number of people who are not satisfied with it will be at least two thirds. Indeed, those employees who will generate the money will be paid as much as those who will generate nothing. Part 2 Since the model of payment should be regarded as the characteristic feature of each, it may be logical to analyze it first. Thus, the model that will be used in this center combined Reduced Flat Rate and Small Commission. As one can easily seen from the very name of it, the financial funds will be distributed in the following manner: all employees will receive a certain moderate amount of money, but they will also be able to increase with the help of bonuses. It should not come as a surprise that the Libertarian center will be organized in a completely different way. The model of payment that will be used there is Commission. Thus, according to it, every person will earn equal amount of money per sale and if one does not make a sale, one will not earn any money. Finally, there is one last center that should be discussed. The Egalitarian center will employ the model of Flat rate: every individual will be paid an equal amount of money and no bonuses will be provided. Part 3 Keeping in mind the peculiarities of this center, one might note that it will not be very profitable, but all employees in it will be satisfied. Indeed, only a part of it will be working hard and their work will generate the money that later will be distributed. However, those who are not talented and are not able to make any sales, they will be able to earn some money. Further more, the income disparity between those who work hard and those who do not work at all will not be big, as the former will earn $50 and the latter will earn around $65-70. The future of this center might be described in the following manner. There will be a group of people, initially one third, who will not be satisfied at all as they will not receive any money since they will not make any sales. One by one, these people will leave the center which will result into the decrease of the number of employees. However, on the other hand, those who are great at sales will be satisfied with the payment model as they will be able to earn a considerable amount of money. Of course income disparity will be high, but everyone will not that there is an opportunity for mobility. Ultimately, the room that was freed by the salespeople who left will be taken by talented individuals; so, in the long run, this center will be the most prosperous one. Another point that should be mentioned about the perspective of this center is that it is doomed to failure. Indeed, gradually, the most talented individuals will be dissatisfied with the lack of justice and will leave the company. So, ultimately, only those who are not able to make sales properly will be left. While the company may be able to pay them for a while, in the end there will be no money generated so that it could be distributed later. The least talented salespeople will understand that they received the money that were generated by others and will leave too. This will be the collapse of the center in general. Conclusion Having examined all the points that were mentioned in the paragraphs above, one is able to come to the logical conclusion: the three theories of justice reflect a completely different approach towards the way not only a company, but a society should function. They differ in various aspects, but one should keep in mind that the ultimate success is what truly matter. For example the Egalitarian center seems to be the most successful in the short run, but ultimately it is doomed to failure. On the other hand, the Libertarian center will loose up to a third of its staff rather quickly which some people may see as a negative sing, but it will appear to be the most successful in the long run.
