How Much a Person Learns in College - Assignment Example

The survey that I took revealed that there are many majors which I could pursue in order to achieve a career. I was surprised that the major that I am most qualified to pursue based on the survey was human resources. Despite the fact that I like marketing a lot this major was placed tenth on the list. I was surprised by the recommendation that I would be good at social work. I never thought before about pursuing a career in social sciences. Another interesting revelation from the survey is that my abilities and skills are suited for me to pursue a career in speech communication.

I have always been good at oral presentation, but I never thought about working in media relations. The overall results were intriguing but not revealing enough for me to want to switch my current career path. Grades are not the best indicator of how much a person learns in college.
