My educational experience at Borough of Manhattan Community College has had a tremendous impact on my future. The s I took while attending BMCC were very challenging. The faculty of the college is composed of tremendous professors who have lots of real life experience in the business world. They knew how to explain complex concepts with simple ideas. The courses I have taken at BMCC have helped me improve my verbal and written communication skills as well as my math skills. The improvements in these basic competencies will help me succeed as I continue my studies in another educational institution.

Another skill that I learned while studying at BMCC was the value of teamwork. Teamwork can be very useful in the classroom setting as well as in the real world. Teamwork has become a critical success factor in the business environment of the 21st century. The team skills I acquire can be used at other courses. My education at BMCC will help me find a job. No matter the position a person is applying for when a manager reads a resume of a person that has college studies they prefer that individual over someone with a high school degree.

I learn how to communicate better verbally due to my experiences at BMCC. Verbal skills can be of great use when a person is having an interview for a job. My written skills improved a lot as a consequence of my education at BMCC. Preparing written reports is very common in many professions. My decision to study at BMCC was the best decision I ever made.
