Going on vacation on a trip is a very enjoyable experience that people should cherish. I am currently planning to go on a trip soon. The place that I want to visit is the Caribbean island of Jamaica. A friend of mine went to Jamaica last year and she told me that the beaches are beautiful and the nightly life is tremendous there. Taking a leisure trip takes a lot of planning. The first thing I have to determine is when to take the trip. I think that the best time to take the trip is during summer because people usually take vacations from work at that time.

I do not want to travel alone, thus I have to coordinate the trip with the friend or family member I will go with. A trip involves getting into massive transportation vehicle. There are planes and ships that travel to Jamaica frequently. In order to save money it would be preferable to buy the tickets in advance because airlines and cruise ship give better price if you pay for them a few months in advance. Another consideration is the lodging and how many days the trip will last. I believe that a one week trip would be a nice balance between not spending too much and having enough time to visit the different tourist attractions available in Jamaica.

Once I reach Jamaica in order to not be dependent on taxis and public transportation I will rent a car. I also have to buy new clothes for the trip as well as hygiene products. I hope that all the planning for the trip will help be prepared once the vacation starts. I want to visit Jamaica and enjoy my vacation to the fullest this summer.
