? Introduction The provision is provided on the importance of upholding the necessity of offering a stable coexistence within the societal setting. The presentation includes the necessity of presenting the challenge that had been considered the aspect that develops the ecosystem and the urbanization prospect within the stipulated format. With the urbanization process, various developments have been adjusted to include easier measures needed by humanity to complete development. With strategies implemented in the construction and design of the buildings and established structures within the urban centers, the provision is accorded in establishing stable coexistence within the urban centers. Leinberger in his book explains the emerging trend of the established system among Americans, who prefer to create a stable community t based on the adaptations that they have created in the design of the urban system. The Option for Urbanism had been written to highlight the provisions derived from the created system with challenges and opportunities explained for the system. Societal individuals prefer easier measures that develop their physical and emotional conditions positively towards the challenges faced. The explanation is also accorded of the system that has been developed by the government over the recent times towards what had been termed as drivable suburb. With the emphasis placed on reviving the economy and generation of profit, the advancement in the communal policies has declined with developed health hazards and environmental degradation. Leinberger’s book has been written to highlight both advancements and challenges of the witnessed system according the needed options to regulate the system. Through careful analysis of The Option of Urbanism, the lesson is developed of the provisions needed in generating a successful and sustainable society. The aspect under consideration in Leinberger’s book has been the societal setting within the urban setting. He explains that the trend established had been charged with setting the lifestyle that favored development of the existing resources. Humanity within the urban centers had preferred to attain venues that could be applied in the completion of multiple tasks. Not only had satisfaction been the solution derived from the system, but the challenges had also incorporated the influences on the environment. The variable economic sectors created within the society had been created on the motive to develop the economy. However, the consequences for the creation of the system that sustained the individuals had been created at a dire cost of lowering the health status. The harmful effects that had been noticed from the system had been degraded living condition and the environmental threat of carbon gases emission. The differentiated sectors like financial and the real estate community had to be developed following an established pattern to accord a productive venture (Leinberger, 2008). The sustainability of the system had been varied on the financial, social and environmental sector. Leinberger (2008) explained that these systems had been the vital provision to generate the desired measures that created peaceful and healthy relations within the society. The urban system had been based on the development attributes that considered the measures needed to obtain success. Without the regulation of the system created that provided for development structures similar within the entire sixty years of development, the challenge witnessed would be in accommodating the increasing number of individuals. There should be the balance of these entities to establish satisfaction within the member of the society and develop a system that would be flexible to the witnessed changes. The creation and development of the structures within the urban centers should be advanced into the system that considers human mobility as compared to other facilities within the system. The spaces designed within the system had been created to accommodate the development of the mechanisms advanced within the society. The resources developed have been advanced within the system to accommodate the increasing automobile company and travel resources that assist in advancing the economy. The impact that had been influenced in the development of the urban system had been included in the similar developments, that had witnessed humanity to advance the economic prospects. The automobile industry had been created based on the incentives developed around the influence of General motors. This industry has aided the advances noticed in the transportation industry and encouraged the provisions including the mobility of humanity. The noticed advancements are realized in the desire generated in the advances within the motor vehicle industry. This develops thee aspect needed to compare the witnessed growth in the resource department and presentations that deliver efficiency in transportation. The automobile industry has been advanced to accommodate prospects that have been included to affect the economic influences. Leinberger explains that the automobile industry presents the provision that advances the lifestyle of the individual in warehouse, medical provisions and the industrial warehouse sector. With the rules in the ownership of contemporary property and the established system, the advances have been made in promising individuals the insecurity of presenting ownership of the selected resource. However, he explains both effects that are included in the system that offers both positive and negative influences on the system. Despite the ownership involved in the provisions, in the ownership of the property, the negative consequences are realized in the reduced distribution of the available resources. Leinberger places the disadvantages of the system in the scarcity of mobility gadget with the automobile industry holding the solitary means applied in presenting transportation measures. There may also be complications in the social complication that present measures that derive the variable cultural affiliations within the system. The development of a civilized system creates desired stability that may be required in development of the spaces. The creation of development networks presents opportunities to individuals to desire measures needed to generate development attributes. This wave generates the pattern that develops the migration from the outskirts into the zones with the added opportunity. The result of the movement would generate an unstable migration and population distribution pattern. Moreover, the consequences are realized in the limited space that may be presented with the failure of implementing property ownership rules. Urbanization is a prospect realized to accommodate tremendous resources in advancements and lead to economic debts from ownership of spaces. The challenge presented to the societal members is realized in the accumulation of debts from auto ownership and the property accommodation. These are advanced in the failure of an organized strategy to provide a sustainable measure in maintaining the fluctuating cost of living. Leinberger (2008) presents the environmental challenges from the system of urbanization to be included in rising costs incurred in presenting a healthy establishment from the carbon emissions. Furthermore, the manufacture and automobile industry advance the prospect of degrading the air circulation in increasing carbon gases rate within the environment. The structure developed fail t favor sanity with increasing population that exhaust the available resources and present the challenge of maintenance. The book explains the consequences of the elevated level of involvement and participation in the development sector of society. With the urbanization process, the limitations that are developed may lead to health complications that notice the limited inclusion of the positive attributes to develop the family. The structures established have promoted the fast food industry that aid in advancing obesity and the increased reports witnessed in the road accidents. These prospects suggest Leinberger’s ability to base balanced judgments from the positive and negative attributes sought from the urbanization process. However, the strongest advancements within the writings have been made in the influences made within the monetary and the demographic trend within the cities. The comparison to determine the economy is based on oil. Leinberger argues on the influences developed in the oil industry that has been realized to influence the behavioral trend. Oil is included in the ability to advance the influence within the other departments that extend beyond the transportation sector. The resource influences the choices of individuals who seek to avoid the elevated costs in the value of oil. The resource is desired to be compared with the other available resources in the expenses and the amount included in the housing sector. Individuals prefer to apply cheap measures to adapt to the increasing costs of living. Oil prices determine the choices included in the ability to select the areas considered favorable to establish the settlement pattern. The demographic also influences the equation and may be included in the number of individuals within a family setting. The book highlights that individuals with smaller families may enjoy the benefits in opting for an elevated lifestyle as compared to those with constrained number of opportunities. Larger families are more difficult to manage because the provided entity would produce strenuous measures to provide resources needed in offering satisfaction. The urbanization process has been explained to increase the population measure that would elevate the costs incurred within the society. The households with the prospects with children are expected to report an elevated number in the expenses incurred and in the number of individuals requiring assistance. The result would encourage the aspect of sub-urbanism that has been identified to increase the opportunities to access better resources and complete a higher satisfaction level. The reflection of the created society is included in his analysis of the programs within the television environment (Leinberger, 2008). The television has presented the provisions included to influence the societal norms through establishing the reflection needed within the society to predict the measures to be adopted and generate the needed advancements. The virtual world developed within the television has affected the ideology generated that has been presented to be included in advancing lifestyle. The reflection is issued on the measures needed to be included in the estimation of the lifestyle to be developed within the societal setting. However, the challenge is presented in the achievement of the setting because some of the established standards are virtual and may be impossible to achieve with the elevating lifestyle realized in the society. The reflection accords the limit that humanity has the capability of achieving. The world created sets the target that encourages the incorporation of hard work and provisions that tolerate the possibility of selecting productive ventures, that are needed to obtain the standard set. Lifestyle television has been included in the reflection needed to outline the systems developed within the society that favor the inclusion of luxurious entities within the system. Leinberger (2008) predicts the performance within the utilization of the land using Floor area ratio (FAR) aspect. The aspect is defined as the space within the building floor presented in proportion to the area the structure occupies within the selected land. The aspect extends to the accumulation of the spaces occupied in the floor within the building. The calculation issued on a ten-story building that holds floors that are estimated to be 200 square meters and a 500 square meter lot, the FAR is calculated in (2 x 1000/ 500 = 4) (Leinberger, 2008). He explains that the least dense places in the urban centers that are spacious and compares to the most dense regions within the suburban regions. The land prediction and implications are further calculated using the aspect that relates the automobiles to pedestrians (Leinberger, 2008). Cars are presented as the entities that accumulate more space, and their inclusion within the system requires added land as compared to the pedestrians. Furthermore, the calculation may be presented in the venture to include parking spaces that are witnessed to develop the vices that develop urban congestion prospect. The realization that with congested platforms, development is limited and there may be the desire to deliver added growth through establishing more business networks. Leinberger is keen to discuss the application of the policies needed in land development. Without the desired control, and continuity within the urban centers, the damage presented may be in the limited growth of the resources. The book is keen to highlight the damages presented in the system that fails to regulate the application of resources to development channels. Developmental ideology on the available resources is the problem faced because individuals prefer to maximize on the selfish desires developed from favoring individual development. The walkable urbanism has been the venue that has witnessed positive presentations in developments with limited provisions in slow advances. More opportunities created in these platforms would result in the advancement noticed to be in the increased participation on investment. Leinberger advises on the implementation of increased strategies for development that add to a limited selection system that favors only suburban development. The focus on the economy may also be realized as an added advantage with the dynamism realized in the sector. With a stabilized economy, the provision supports the development of the technological and financial sector that is vital for human sustenance. Conclusion The book may be applied to determine the implications needed to articulate survival measures within the society and develop the urbanization concept. Through an unbiased argument, Leinberger’s book suggests the advances presented in the urbanization process. However, the uttermost challenge realized is included in the varied ideologies with the increased population within the developed areas. The generation of a positive application process that maximizes on land application promotes sustainable economy. The strategy that is presented is increased intuition and participation in generating development within the economy. This measure would be more effective as compared to a limited view that focuses on the suburban environs. Reference Leinberger, C. B. (2008).
