Introduction

Trump Pavilion is a nursing home facility located in the Jamaican streets. The facility was established in 1975 as a nursing rehabilitation center by Mary Trump and hence it was named after her. The founder, Mary Trump was a business lady and mother of the multi-billion world investor Donald Trump. During the early years when the hospital was being established, it had a total capacity of two hundred and four beds. However, the Trump Pavilion has grown significantly over the last years since its inception. Currently, the facility has expanded and had 224-beds which imply that the facility can accommodate over 224 in-patients. The growth of Trump Pavilion is attributed to dedicated efforts and quality services offered by the doctors to the patients. The facility has many other impressive features that make it attractive not only to the patients but also to the residents situated around the facility. The facility provides residents with numerous luxurious amenities which make them feel comfortable and relaxed. They also provide health food with a balanced diet ensure that their patients and residents are healthy. Some of the foods offered include; green peace, snacks, vegetables, tea, milk, fish, to mention just but a few (Trump Pavilion, pp.1-5).

Evaluation/analysis of the facility

The facility has ample space for its residents and is dedicated towards the continuous provision of enjoyable residential space. The hospital provides both short term and long term cares to its patients. Some of the short-term care provided within this facility include; social assistance, rehabilitation services, and medical care to mention just but a few of the services rendered. Trump Pavilion Mission is to serve the residents and community as a whole in an exceptional way. Also to provide premier integrated health services that is cost effective and meets the highest quality standards. Besides, Trump Pavilion is dedicated to ensuring that those patients who have succumbed all forms of fractures are taken care off. Some forms of fractures that are being treated at Trump Pavilion include but not limited to hip, femur, knee and total replacement of heap to ensure that patients receive full health recovery as usual (Hadler, p.13).

Trump Pavilion provides patients and residents with numerous health services to ensure their health and emotional wellbeing is taken into consideration. Some of the health services provided include counseling services, medical check, dental services, rehabilitation, treatment of spinal and bone fractures to mention just but a few. The facility has a team of qualified and competent medical professionals who take most care of the patients. They help to stabilize the patients’ health conditions and ensure that their situation has returned to normalcy. Through their dedicated efforts and high level of professionalism, the Trump Pavilion has been rated 5-star by the quality assurance bodies such as Medicare and Medicaid. It has been rated among the 5 top best nursing homes across the world based on the world news report in 2014. The members of staff at Trump Pavilion hold high profile qualifications in different areas of specialization which makes them competent in their work. For instance, the vice president responsible for administration is Mr. Younghans Thomas, who holds a master degree in business administration and also a master's in Social works. He also has clinical social work licensing certificate. There are also other high profile individuals who hold high academic and professional qualifications that boost the image of Trump Pavilion among its partners and stakeholders across the world. The professionals provide both physical and emotional to elderly people as well as rehabilitation facility at an economical cost. Below is a picture of the elderly lady being provided some support at the Trump Pavilion? The second picture indicates patients who have been diagnosed with a spinal fracture in a wheelchair to assist her mobility (Hadler, pp.120-133).

The patients are being provided with food that will help to boost their calcium levels and assist them to recover from spinal injuries. In image 3, the elderly man is receiving therapeutic care at Trump Pavilion facility from two professional nurses. Their nurses are highly qualified. They are licensed by the nursing board which enables them to understand patients needs better. They also understand that emotional support is an important component for promoting healthy leaving the patients, and all members of the society. Besides, the patients are also receiving professional advice from doctors who have relevant knowledge and experience on matters pertaining spinal injuries and health eating. There are numerous activities that take place at Trump Pavilion apart from assisting elderly patients with spinal fractures. The facility provides a broad range of food accommodation and entertainments to the individuals and families who may want a luxurious place to spend their holiday. The facility has great decorations with conducive vegetation. One of the most important vegetation within the Trump Pavilion facility is a Charismas tree that is 12 foot high. The facility also has other vital arts including Kinara, and Menoral at the entrance of the facility which makes it a very attractive destination for all forms of holidays. The management encourages people to visit the facility and even take photograph at the Trump Pavilion as one way of promoting its marketing presence among the local and international community. Trump Pavilion has a fully fledged department for Therapeutic care. The department provides a wide a range of emotional and recreation services to the members of the public and community at large. Some of the services offered include recreational service therapies, social education, and also provision of pulse magazines that keeps all the residents updated with the most current events. Besides, the management team of Trump Pavilion provides a calendar to the residents which may help them to choose numerous social and entertainments events that will take place during the year at the facility. Some of the events likely to occur include; visiting time for the clergies, library activities, movies and music entertainments, cooking lessons, games and tournaments, to mention just but a few of the activities. Research indicates that the Trump Pavilion has manages to boast self esteemed and self-confidence among different people who are admitted to the facility. In addition, the facility has natured individuals towards developing peer group support and provides a platform where people can show their talents (Mundinger, pp.120-141).

The organization has embraced information technology; it has an integrated website that act as a valuable marketing tool. The websites provide those who visit the sites with various options and tabs that they can use to their preferred choices. The website has six major tabs, namely, Welcome tab, our facility tab, patient care, activities, our staff tab, admission tab and contact tab. Those who visit the website can click on their preferred tab to get the required assistance. The websites also have a directory section that shows the means to access the facility as well as the direction that one can use to reach the facility. A well-designed map has been provided which act as a guide to the new visitors at the facility. The organization provides a phone and an email that visors can inquire about the admission. Based on the analysis of Trump Pavilion should consider upgrading their IT system. Their website does not have an online application for admission of the new members into the facility. Also, their system does not provide online chart where members can freely interact with doctors online. Also, the organization should provide a link that allows the organization to interact with the rest of the world via social media. For example, the organization should consider adding social media links such as Facebook, twitter, Instagram and smart chart that can enable visitors to connect to the rest of the world. Trump Pavilion has been faced with legal violation especially on Patient Health Information (PHI). The organization made legal violation through disclosure of patient information and data to authorized parties without being aware. However, the organization has realized their mistakes and has worked towards protecting patient health information by adopting patient health privacy practice. However, the disclosure of patient information may be done upon authorization by patients. The patient confidential health practice is such as HIPAA is aimed at ensuring that patient health is protected and remains confidential from against unauthorized parties. Trump facility also committed to providing high-quality services to patients and act in compliance with high ethical standards that to ensure that patient well-being is taken into consideration. Trump Pavilion has integrated code of conduct that guides members against any unlawful or unethical behaviors within the health within the facility. The organization health of conduct asserts that they will not tolerate members who engage in unethical practices which may compromise patient health (HIPAA Joint Privacy Notice, p. 1-3).

Conclusion

Trump Pavilion is located in Jamaica and provides a broad range of services to the patients and community within the health facility. The facility was established in the year 1975 as a center for rehabilitation. The facility has grown significantly since its inception; currently, it has 224 beds and a team of highly skilled professional including doctors, pathologist and nurses. Based on the analysis it can be observed that the facility has been rated as 5- star nursing home. The evaluation of the facility has also been provided. During my tour at the Trump Pavilion, I realized I saw the place was very clean and well maintained by the management team of Trump Pavilion. However, the assistances personnel at the help desk did not allow me to enter inside the building but gave me a few minutes to walk around the facility. The personnel told me not to talk with people around but just to have a glance at the place and take pictures. As I went around the facility, I realized that the surrounding environment was very beautiful with good vegetation and highly decorated building. On could miss to stay in the place forever if given a chance. The staffs at Trump Pavilion were very supportive and welcoming. They even encourage me to a picture near the 12 feet high charismas tree and along the corridors. I realy enjoyed my visit at the facility and I would encourage those who may want a place to relax during holidays to consider making reservation and visit Trump Pavilion. They staff are very friendly and supportive; they make you feel that you are in the right place. Besides, the beauty of the building and the surrounding amazing.
