"Successful Nursing Career" is a great example of a paper on care. A successful nursing career requires not only an academic understanding of the subject but also the required practical skills. My experience on the medical floor has not only been fulfilling but also educative. As a result, I have grown as a person and a nursing profession which has prepared me to serve in a health care environment.

I learned many things. Firstly, I have learned how to do a 12 lead EKG. Secondly, I learned how to flush and administer medication through an AV. Thirdly, it has helped me to understand the importance of some procedures such as the importance of monitoring vital signs. Fourth, I learned how to use medical instruments such as the Doppler. As a result, I am able to use basic medical instruments and perform a number of medical procedures.

However, there are some things that I would have loved to learn but was unable to due to the short period of time. For example, I wanted to learn how to perform circumcisions. In addition, I would have loved to learn how to help pregnant mothers when they are giving birth.

Besides the nursing skills that I learnt, my interactions with the patients that I served helped me to learn how to deal with bad situations. Moreover, my experiences with them modified my life beliefs. In addition, the other nurses not only helped me to learn practical skills but also how to communicate with the patients in a more effective manner.

The skills that I have learned will help me to make a more meaningful contribution in a new environment. In addition, I will be able to communicate with the patients in a more meaningful manner. Furthermore, I am now fully equipped to care for patients without supervision.

In conclusion, the last semester has been an informative and enjoyable experience. The lessons I have learned will enable me to be a better person. Moreover, I am aware of things I don’t understand and will make efforts to learn them.
