"Nursing: Essentials of Baccalaureate Education" is a perfect example of a paper on care.
The nursing profession's experience gives a person the knowledge of the role a nurse plays and the different growth opportunities that nurses have. A Baccalaureate degree in nursing provides an RN with the opportunities to further their careers, and even change tracks if they feel they want to go into a different role in the same profession. After being accepted back to college for the degree course, a working nurse has many tasks at home and work, and the school work that will be starting. To succeed in studies, a working nurse needs to plan their time and prioritize their tasks to know what is essential and what is not. Finally, studying in a smart manner optimizes the limited time the nurse has allocated for their studies, helping them achieve their goal of completing their studies in time and working at the same time. This assignment discusses the measures and plans I plan to undertake in my studies.

Discuss why you have decided to complete your BSN at this time, and the concerns you have about completing your baccalaureate degree. Based on the readings in the course materials, what strategies can you implement to be a successful student?

After practicing nursing for some years, I have reached a point where I need to go back to school for more education to broaden my knowledge in areas I have not been practicing and to change the direction of my career. My biggest concern about completing my degree is the limited time I have and if I can complete it in time. I know it will be an uphill task, but with proper planning, sacrifice, and hard work, I hope to complete the degree in time.

For me to be a successful student, I need to learn how to manage my time (Nursing Students, 2015). I have a lot of duties at home, school, and work, and I need to prioritize them. I also need to learn how to study smart. Also, I need to prioritize my projects and set realistic schedules (All Nursing School Staff, 2019).

List three examples of plagiarism and discuss how plagiarizing as a student affects the integrity of a baccalaureate degree, the public perception of the nursing profession, and evidence-based practice. Describe two things you will do to ensure academic integrity in your work.

Three types of plagiarism:

  • Direct word to word borrowing from a source not acknowledged in the copied work (GCU, n.d.).
  • Using words and ideas from a source without citing the source.
  • Self-Plagiarism (GCU, n.d.).

Plagiarism affects the integrity of the degree by people questioning if the degree holder is qualified or just copied work to pass exams. In the nursing profession and evidence-based practice, nurses used to plagiarism can record false documentation through the use of generic notes, which affects both the nurse and the health center.

To ensure academic integrity, it is essential to conduct thorough research to ensure I have enough knowledge of the topic I am studying. Later, when I am writing my research and project papers, I need to cite any resource I have used, while at the same time paraphrasing as much as I can and using my words as much as possible.
