Cellect-Budwig Protocol in Pancreatic Cancer Essay. https://studentshare.org/nursing/1882986-new-cancer-therapies.
The therapy is highly effective in patients with advanced cancer (i.e., stage four onwards) who require alternative treatments that are effective in a matter of days (Anderson & Taylor, 2012). It is developed from a combination of the cellect and Budwig cancer protocols, which become highly effective within short periods and prevent swelling and inflammation. Besides the two major therapies (cellect and Budwig), this treatment includes other different procedures that are very effective in limiting cancer cell growth, killing cancer cells, detoxifying the body, and rebalancing patients’ physiology (Hochhauser & Tobias, 2013).
When developing a teaching plan for patients using this therapy, the main elements I would include are the teaching methods, teaching materials, age variations, and language variety. The teaching methods would be important in situations where amateur, semiprofessional, or professional instructors guide patients in using the therapy and deriving maximum benefits from its advantages (Hochhauser & Tobias, 2013). Teaching methods would include role-playing, programmed instructions, one-on-one sessions, games, small group sessions, and support groups, as well as demonstration and reverse demonstrations.
Teaching materials would entail audiocassettes, posters and flipcharts, transparencies, computer-aided instruction, models, videos and closed-circuit television, and pamphlets and brochures (Hochhauser & Tobias, 2013). Language variety and age variations will ensure that users in different countries can benefit from the therapy by understanding it in their dialects while age variety will support the application of the treatment in all age groups (Anderson & Taylor, 2012).
