I have gained sufficient knowledge and understanding as I had to analyze various case studies and go through nursing theories in repeated instances. To meet the objectives of the coursework, when concerning the importance of nursing, I reviewed various secondary sources, such as journals and peer-reviewed articles as well. As I could observe, nursing practices are subject to various risks, as they are responsible for managing the health of people and the community at large. Nurses have huge responsibilities towards society and hence, need to be registered besides following the principles of nursing. In this context, from the review of various articles and findings obtained by studying the healthcare organization’s functioning, I have realized that nurses need to have the required knowledge and skills to deal with various situations and take an effective decision often on the spot. Therefore, registered nurses need to be confident, responsible, and competent in their actions to deliver quality care (Royal College of Nursing, 2015).

From the completion of my coursework, I will now be able to combine my knowledge from the nursing practices along with my education for making a corrective clinical judgment, as well as decision-making. As per my belief, it is important to integrate the professional standards in the nursing practice to resolve the issues faced and provide quality care. It is thus that from the coursework, I will become more confident in my approach while providing care to patients. Moreover, from the review of the articles throughout my course, I realized that nursing practices have changed considerably from the early traditional approach to a more digitalized method. Therefore, it is important to follow evidence-based practices while guiding patients and families for the prevention of diseases. Furthermore, with the completion of the coursework, I will be able to provide care to patients with the help of advanced technologies to avoid potential errors. I will also be able to employ advanced communication systems and tools that would assist nursing practices in the future. Successfully meeting the objective will also enable me to exhibit the regulatory environment along with knowledge of the healthcare policies to create a positive impact on society. Furthermore, from the review of the articles and case studies, I realized that it is vital to have ethics and scientific aspects in the practices of nursing. Therefore, from the understanding gained, I comprehend that after the completion of the nursing program, I will be able to integrate communication as well as skills to deliver care with a positive approach for a healthier society (Royal College of Nursing, 2015).

After the completion of the coursework, I have become more confident in portraying the values and delegating work in a more sensitive manner with ethics. I also observed that the issues that were being faced in the nursing practices were due to the traditional approach, which has now changed to a more evidence-based and digitalized form. Hence, the chances of the error have reduced along with advanced maintenance of records. Therefore, from the analyses and understanding gained, I have recognized that I will now be able to perform the professional values with ethical conscience and enhance the role of nursing practices. Stating precisely about my experiences and belief, with the successful completion of the objectives incorporating secondary sources and organizational readings, I can now actively deliver proper healthcare to society.
