"How Does the Center for Disease Control Impact the Advance Practice Nurses Clinical Practices?" is a perfect example of a paper on care.
Chronic diseases are long-standing illness that may be controlled but not healed. These include diseases such as cancer, HIV, among others. 75 percent of the health budget goes to treating patients suffering from such chronic diseases. One in every two adults suffers from chronic illnesses with the percentage of those infected shooting from 1.8 percent in the 1960s to 7 percent in 2004. The whole practice of treating and executing other services in the nursing industry requires surveillance, thus the formation of the Center for Disease Control. In this case, the main roles of the CDC are to monitor the prevention efforts, analyze information on risky health behaviors, and assist medical practitioners to make sober decisions in their practice. Also, the process of chronic disease surveillance assists in the allocation of funds, program planning and evaluation, and research. Given that advanced nursing practice comprises of various nursing practices, the National Board has come up with set guidelines for the nurses under the stewardship of the Center for Disease Control. This paper will outline how the Center for Disease Control impacts the advanced practice nurses, clinical practice when delivering health care to individuals and populations.

CDC has fueled the exploration and establishment of better nursing care in Africa. Through PEPFAR; Presidents Plan For Aids Relief, CDC has enabled many nurses in countries such as Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi to acquire knowledge on treating HIV infected patients. The main aim is to strengthen African healthcare personnel. This provided nurses with more information while patients received better medical attention. Supported health professional guidelines can assist both as a medical guarantee and minimizing holdups in intensifying HIV health care and treatment services. The expanded HIV services have resulted in voluntary male circumcision and reduced mother to child transmission of the virus (Center for Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, 2013).

Also, the CDC at the school level strives to establish a relationship between nursing practice and training. In this case, the CDC sets the training standards for students aspiring to be nurses. Such programs ensure graduate nurses have acquired enough information for their practice and areas of specialization  (Fauteux, 2014). The CDC also carries out surveys in the school’s teaching and training curriculum that ensures every nursing aspect is taught in nursing and medicine schools. The survey comprises of a comprehensive data collection and evaluation technique on services that enlighten students on how to suppress chronic diseases. When nurses recognize and manage chronic illnesses at an early stage, they are enabled to lower future occurrences lowering medical spending. The CDC school health services resources tool makes the CDC fact sheet, procedures, recommendations, and health topic overviews for schools (Fauteux, 2014).

Diabetes public health services have also reduced the risk of people getting the disease. Given that women mostly suffer from diabetes disease leading to kidney failure and even blindness, CDC researchers inform nursing practitioners on healthy diets and risky behavior. Also, the CDC uses chronic disease indicators to inform nurses on worst-hit areas across the globe. This plays a vital part in the urgent deployment of medical practitioners in such areas.

In conclusion, the collaboration between the two has led to better medical attention. The main aim is to lower the death rate due to chronic diseases. Through National interview surveillance, CDC is able to acquire information and recommend proper nursing programs in medical facilities across the globe.
